Doncaster Road Dental Practice – Best Dental Clinic in Leicester since from 1896, situated in the heart of Leicester’s Golden Mile, this building has always been a dental practice. That’s a long time. We have had entire generations coming to the practice from great-grandchildren right the way through to great grandparents.
Baz graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Birmingham, England, in 1989. He has been a partner at the practice since 1995, and became the Principal dentist in 2010.
He has been a practicing dentist for over 20 years. In that time Baz has continuously invested his own time and money to improve his dentistry. He has completed all the following courses:
Principles of Occlusion, in 1999 (1 year certificated course)
Endodontics (root canal treatment), in 2002
Acupuncture and treating anxious patients, in 2002
Dental Photography in 2006/2007
Certificate in multi system Dental Implantology, in 2010 (1 year certificated course)
Orthodontics: Six Month Smiles, in 2013
In his spare time he does Pyrography (wood burning art), he teaches at the Jain centre, he is a level 1 qualified coach in table tennis, he used to be a Leicester County Chess coach, and if that wasn’t enough, Baz in his day off visits primary schools to educate children on oral health.
Apart from dentistry Baz is a family man. He is married and has two children; he lives in Leicester.
Urvi was awarded a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S) qualification in 2000 from the University of Mumbai, India, and passed her International Qualifying Exams (IQE) in 2004 from Guy’s Hospital, London.
Since 2004, Urvi has been working as a General Dental Practitioner in Chelmsford, Essex and also in Shanghai and Bahrain with special interest in Cosmetic Dentistry.
She has gained tremendous knowledge and expertise in dentistry and enjoys the challenges. She prides herself on driving for excellent results. Having worked in various countries has further strengthened her cultural knowledge, and enables her to practice with diverse cultures in a successful manner to achieve desired results.
Urvi lives in Leicester with her husband and has two children. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family and reading. She is fluent in English, Gujarati, Hindi, Mandarin and is currently learning Arabic. She enjoys travelling, cooking and practicing classical Indian dancing
