Preventive Dentistry
Regular check-ups and tailor-made advice to enable you to take care of your teeth and gums at home. A preventive approach will reduce development of future problems.
Hygienist
Our hygienists offer a service to those who need more extensive gum treatments and maintenance. We consider the use of hygienists as essential in our preventive philosophy. Good oral hygiene is the foundation of a healthy mouth.
Bridgework
This is a fixed solution using existing teeth to support and replace missing teeth. There are several materials and many designs to suit each case.
Crowns
Often called ‘Caps’. A crown is a permanent restoration that covers a tooth to strengthen and protect a decayed tooth from further fracture. A crown also may be used to support a large filling when there is little tooth remaining.
Dentures
Removable appliances constructed to replace missing teeth that are supported by surrounding soft and hard tissues of the mouth. These are designed and constructed for the individual case
Root canal Treatments
A procedure to remove the nerve and alleviate pain caused by inflammation or infection of the tooth. The process involves removing diseased or damaged pulp from a tooth, then filling and sealing the pulp chamber and root canals.
Anxiety
We recognise that many people view a visit to the dentist with great trepidation. Our staff aim to be as approachable and accessible as possible so please feel free to discuss any concerns with us and we will do our best to help.
