Custom-crafted porcelain and zirconia crowns that restore damaged teeth with the strength of nature and the artistry of precision dentistry. Most patients leave with a permanent crown in as few as two visits.
A dental crown is a tooth-shaped covering that fits over a damaged, decayed, or treated tooth — restoring its full shape, strength, and bite. Modern crowns are crafted from materials that mimic the translucency and wear of natural enamel, so once placed, they're virtually undetectable.
Whether you've had a root canal, a large filling that's failing, or a fractured tooth from an accident, a crown is often the most conservative way to save the tooth and avoid extraction.
Every smile is different — and so is every crown we craft. Here are the four materials we offer, each with its own strengths.
The most natural-looking option. Ideal for front teeth where appearance matters most.
The strongest tooth-colored option available. Perfect for molars and patients who grind.
A time-tested combination of strength and natural appearance. Great for back teeth.
High-end ceramic with outstanding aesthetics and remarkable durability. Our flagship option.
Most patients complete the full crown process in just two visits over 10–14 days.
Comprehensive exam, X-rays, and a clear conversation about what your tooth actually needs.
~45 minThe tooth is gently shaped, digitally scanned, and fitted with a custom temporary crown.
~75 minOur master ceramist hand-finishes your permanent crown to match your natural teeth.
10–14 daysWe place, polish, and adjust your permanent crown. You walk out with a fully restored smile.
~60 minKeep your natural tooth root in place — always preferable to extraction and replacement.
With routine care, modern crowns regularly last 15+ years before any replacement is needed.
Color-matched and contoured to blend with your existing teeth — no one will spot it.
You can chew, bite, and speak normally from the day your permanent crown is placed.
Especially important after a root canal, when the tooth becomes more brittle and prone to fracture.
No drawn-out treatment plans. Most patients complete the full process in 10–14 days.

After years of avoiding photos because of a chipped front tooth, Dr. Roth's team gave me a porcelain crown that looks completely natural. I genuinely forgot which tooth was the crown after a week.
I'd been told I needed an extraction at another clinic. Dr. Roth saved the tooth with a zirconia crown. Two visits, no pain, and my bite feels exactly like it used to.
The entire team is meticulous in a way I've never experienced at a dentist. They scanned, fitted, and adjusted my crown three times until it felt perfect. Worth every dollar.
With proper oral hygiene and regular dental checkups, modern crowns last 15 to 20 years on average. Zirconia and E-max crowns can last even longer. The crown itself is essentially impervious to decay, but the underlying tooth still needs care.
The procedure itself is done under local anesthesia, so you'll feel pressure but no pain. Most patients describe mild sensitivity for a few days after the tooth preparation visit, which resolves once the permanent crown is placed.
Traditionally, it's two visits about 10–14 days apart. The first visit is for preparation and impressions; the second is to fit and bond the final crown. We also offer same-day CEREC crowns for select cases.
Most PPO dental plans cover 40–60% of the cost when a crown is medically necessary (after a root canal, large fracture, or significant decay). Our front desk verifies your benefits before treatment so you know exactly what to expect.
A veneer is a thin shell that covers only the front of a tooth — purely cosmetic. A crown covers the entire tooth and is used when the tooth is structurally compromised. Veneers preserve more tooth structure but can't restore function the way a crown can.
Yes. If a crown chips, becomes loose, or wears out, it can be replaced with a new one in most cases. We also honor a 5-year workmanship warranty on every crown we place at this practice.
