About 94 Dental

94 Dental at 94 Caerleon Road in Newport, Wales, is a professional general dental practice serving the Caerleon Road corridor and the surrounding Newport community. Caerleon Road is a significant arterial route running northeast from Newport city centre toward the town of Caerleon — a place of extraordinary historic importance as the site of the Roman legionary fortress Isca Augusta, one of only three permanent legionary fortresses in Roman Britain alongside York and Chester. The road connects Newport''s city core to this remarkable destination, passing through established residential Newport along the way.

The practice name "94 Dental" — using its street number as its identity — creates a direct, address-anchored practice character that is immediately memorable and honestly positioned. Patients looking for a dentist on Caerleon Road know immediately where to find it. Newport is Wales''s third-largest city, strategically positioned on the River Usk between Cardiff and Bristol, home to a rich industrial heritage, the Newport Transporter Bridge, and a growing, diverse contemporary community.

General dental care at 94 Dental covers all routine oral health services. Comprehensive oral examinations at each visit assess teeth, gum health, and soft tissue systematically. Professional scaling removes tartar accumulation, protecting gum tissue from bacterial damage. Polishing follows. Regular cleaning at appropriate intervals is actively encouraged as the most impactful adult preventive investment. Composite fillings restore cavities. Extractions are handled carefully with practical aftercare guidance. NHS dental treatment is available to eligible patients in Wales under the NHS Wales dental charge system.

Caerleon Road is accessible from Newport city centre and well-served by local public transport. For Newport patients near Caerleon Road seeking professional general dental care, 94 Dental provides accessible neighbourhood services in a convenient, well-connected location.

If you're lookng for patient care this is not the dentist for you. It's a business I get it but money comes first here as a NHS patient I tend not to complain too much but now with their poor private subscription which is just bare bones matinence and their refusal to treat children over the age of 3 despite the NHS still allowing cover for children up to 16. Regardless I've manged to get myself an appointment almost two months away for a cracked tooth which is mainly due to the bad work I've had on my teeth. It's become apparent I've been receiving substandard work as I'm NHS. every small filling I've had a large amount of the tooth was drilled away for them to do an old fashioned filling which relies and friction each and every time they fall out leaving the tooth to decay worse. I've have teeth completely ruined due to small fillings and now they are going private! 4 times I called to get an appointment for my daughter who has tooth pain and needs a filling each time they couldn't arrange an appointment and was told they would speak to ash and get back to me and each time they didn't bother does that sound like a service worth paying a monthly subscription for does it. In the end I've had to give up my appointment so my daughter can have it as they tried to tell me they would call me back again! So now my daughter has appointment I dont they didn't attempt to remedy the situation just an ok and that's that. Now I have to try and find another dentist for me and my daughter as I simply won't pay for substandard care

nfortunately, my experience was disappointing due to the delay and lack of respect for appointment times. I had an appointment at 10:30 and was still waiting at 11:00 with no explanation or apology. I understand clinics can be busy, but patients’ time should be respected.

What a great team at 94 dental. Lost a front tooth over the weekend and popped in first thing Monday on the offchance as they were just around the corner. Ash saw me straight away, gave me a number of options and worked through his lunch to give me a temporary repair and booking me in for future treatment. I was sat in the reception for a short while and was amazed by the interaction with the receptionists and their clients. They knew everyone by name and had time to interact with them on a personal basis rather than just on a business level. Corrine, Jo and Ash, thanks for making me feel comfortable and valued when I had just walked in unannounced, I really appreciate what you did for me. It is wonderful that there are services such as yours that focus on customer and community, rather than cold interaction and financial transactions. I look forward to seeing you all again soon, I would highly recommend your services. Thank you.

I recently went to 94 Dental and had a really good experience. I couldn’t be bothered waiting forever for an NHS appointment, so I went private and honestly the plans here make a lot of sense. The team were friendly, explained everything clearly, and didn’t rush me or push anything unnecessary. The clinic is clean, modern, and just feels calm. No stress, no drama. If you want decent dental care without the long wait or awkward vibes, I’d recommend 94 Dental. Bonus: my smile’s been upgraded!
