Access Dental of E 7th is a full-service general and specialty practice on East 7th Street in the Holly neighborhood of east Austin, led by Dr. Tien Phan and a team that includes pediatric and restorative care under one roof. The clinic covers routine dental work — exams, X-rays, cleanings, fillings, and sealants — alongside the larger restorative and cosmetic projects most patients return for over time. Extended hours and an open-door policy mean the front-desk team is set up for walk-ins and same-day urgent visits as well as scheduled appointments.
For restorative work the practice offers dental implants — titanium posts placed into your jaw bone supporting custom crowns — along with bridges, dentures, and root canal therapy when a tooth needs to be saved instead of pulled. On the cosmetic side, you can have porcelain veneers bonded to the front of teeth to change shape, color, or alignment, plus Philips Zoom teeth whitening for in-office brightening. Invisalign clear aligners are available for adults and teens who want to straighten without traditional brackets. The pediatric track handles your child's first dental visits, sealants, and routine care; periodontal treatment for gum disease and tooth extractions are also done in-office rather than referred out.
If you want one east-Austin practice that handles your routine cleanings, your kids' visits, and the occasional implant or Invisalign treatment plan in the same place, this fits.
Cost-wise, the clinic sits in the affordable-to-mid range for east Austin and accepts a wide range of insurance — PPO, DPO, Medicaid, and Medicare — with financing and discount-plan options for out-of-pocket work. Free consultations are offered before larger treatment plans. Searches that bring patients here include affordable dentist near East 7th Austin, dental implants in east Austin, Invisalign clear aligners in 78702, and emergency dentist with same-day appointments. The practice suits patients who value accessibility, flexible scheduling, and having a single home for the family's full range of dental needs.

They will have you sitting in the waiting room for an hour and a half even though they bothers you and blew up your phone to get you to waste your time and come down. DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE. I got here at 10:37 am for an 11:00 appointment. When I got here they couldn’t find my information even though they said they had it red flag number one I had to keep going up and bothering them to see what was going on with my appointment and they had Peopel that came after me going ahead of me red flag number two the third and final flag was me seeing after an hour of waiting what was going on and them telling me they needed 30 more minute because they were waiting on a room because they let the people go ahead of me. If you have a whole day to waste then by all means come to this run down hole in the wall unprofessional place but if not avoid this place by any means necessary!!!!!!
Do NOT come here u less you have half a day to spent. Regardless of appt time you’ll be waiting an hour plus. They absolutely do not value customers time and book numerous appointments at the same time knowing they’ll only have 1 dentist available. Attempted to go twice but had to cancel both times after waiting too long. There are numerous other dentist places in the area, would highly recommended ANY other.
Lack of communication and lack of proper care. I told to the front desk I am deaf I couldn't hear my name when called. Interpreter needed. Free interpreter that they could have gotten. Long wait. I got mad I was frustrated and I was not patient. How awful. I really wanted to stay nice. I had drive a senior tranportation waiting one hour limit but I can ask for more time. I didn't know the doctor's name but she did cleaned my teeth very good. I think now I get tired of dentists, and doctors too.
If I could give less than one star I would. .01 star rating from me. I call it's my initial appointment. I've got a train wreck in my mouth and just bought this dental insurance Delta dental out of pocket and I called them and told them who I was and they asked me if I had insurance and I said yes and gave them all my insurance information and said this is an initial first appointment and they made me an appointment for like 2 weeks later which is today and I walk in and then say yes. I'm Kenneth. I have the 12:00 and I sit down and she said oh Kenneth we don't take your insurance. It's a PPO and we don't take those. I'm sorry. Excuse me!? You don't take my insurance!? Then why would you take my insurance information over the phone and make me an appointment and wait until I show up 2 weeks later to tell me? I've been looking forward to this and getting my mouth worked on for quite some time now. Oh man, I can't believe it!. So when I gave you my Delta dental insurance plan number, it didn't pop up that you don't accept that insurance when you're making my first appointment? Who's running this operation? Kindergarteners? Am I your first patient? I mean that's why you asked me if I had insurance, correct? And I said yes and that should have been the end of it right?. I mean why do you need to know my insurance ID number and who I've got insurance through? What does that matter?? You asked me if I had insurance and I said yes. Now make me an appointment. I have insurance okay. That's what happened in it when I told you I had Delta dental plan. My ID number blah blah blah what did you get distracted? While I was telling you all that information, you got something else you you are doing while I'm.. I mean I wasn't in there 5 minutes and they're like oh I'm sorry we don't take your insurance. You know. Sorry for the inconvenience. I had to get an Uber there and back and cost me like $40. Do not make an appointment with these people
