I’ve been going to Dr. Yar since 2015, and I am very pleased with both his work and his staff. I’ve always been afraid of going to the dentist and tend to get panic attacks, but Dr. Yar has consistently made me feel comfortable, calm, and relaxed during my visits. He takes the time to make sure you’re properly numb, and I have never experienced pain during my procedures. His professionalism, patience, and caring approach have made a huge difference for me. The staff is amazing as well—friendly, welcoming, and always providing excellent customer service. I highly recommend Dr. Yar and his team to anyone looking for a compassionate and skilled dentist!

I went in with 12 Cavities and got them all filled within a month. The staff are very nice, and the Dentist is Sharp and efficient. No complaints here!

Stopped coming here ever since they placed a crown, Dr didn’t discuss the recommendable material. Instead gave me the expensive one to charge the insurance! I went back and told him the margin was short they argued it was just the gums. Years later and it’s exposed more!! Stop coming here they just over charge the insurance make sure to call your insurance and make sure they didn’t add anything extra.

I restarted my dental journey, and chose this place. I attend UCR, and am an undergraduate. It worked with UCSHIP (max is 1000, not the best w/ extensive work, good to have secondary PPO insurance) and it’s very convenient because it is very close to UCR. I love that I can walk to my appointments from my apt. or use the RTA Bus to get there so easily. One thing about me is I ask a lot of questions (regardless if the service) and I will always advocate for myself; and that’s what I did. As a patient, I want to understand the service I’m receiving, money I’m paying out of pocket versus insurance, and making sure that I understand the work I’m getting done and why it’s needed. Dental work is expensive in general, so always ask questions (no question is a dumb question), especially if you have UCSHIP or you have other insurance and are paying out of pocket. I had to get more extensive work done, so I’ve been going there consistently for a good 6 months. After the first couple of procedures that I had to get done, my teeth weren’t hurting which was the main issue, so I kept going. As long as my questions were being responded to, the work was great quality, I noticed a change in my teeth, and I am being treated with kindness/respect, I continued to stay there. To add, I observed how Dr. Yar and the staff are to me which is very important. Being personable is important to me as well. Dr. Yar answered all my questions no matter how many times I asked or needed clarification. He always jokes around with me in a fun way, and I call him “sassy” in a fun way. He is caring, kind, and I enjoy my conversations with him when I’m at the office. The staff is very friendly and kind. I joke with them as well, which makes our conversations fun. They answer my questions, and help me to understand what insurance covers versus not, schedule my appointments, and other concerns u may have. They’re all very hardworking. Overall, I have enjoyed my experience this far and in late November, my friend and I made them Nigerian food and brought it into the office. They loved it. I appreciate the services they do for me and their kindness towards me! Can’t recommend this place to anyone enough, but especially if you attend UCR.
