I thought the service was excellent. I had several teeth extracted with no pain. The staff was excellent from Jasmine at the front desk and Ember and Teresa the assistants and Dr. Kaur.

Meets standards

I wish I could give zero stars. In my opinion, run far away from this place and don't take your family. They can't help you with the issues and refer you out to a place that doesn't accept your insurance but want you to come back for a deep cleaning with a dentist in a whole space suit. You can hear the air blowing into the space suit from the hose attacked to her back. In my almost 60 years of living, I've never seen anything like it.

I do not recommend this dental, they are not professional on anything. They don’t reach out a day or two before your appointment to let you know. They canceled my appointment half an hour before my actual appointment. There isn’t any staff or assistants. They won’t even answer the calls, why have a phone number if they won’t answer or even return the call. I called for days to know about my upcoming appointment and never answered my phone calls or returned them.

Alivio Dental, you are horrible!! I have made three appointments for my 5 year old who has a huge cavity. His insurance gave me a list of dentists, all of whom are at least an hour away. So the VNA referred me to Alivio Dental on Galena here in Aurora, 5 minutes from my house. The first time, we show up and the dentist wasn’t working that day, they didn’t have his appointment in the system, let alone his name or insurance information! The girl at the front desk says maybe I made the appointment for the Downer’s Grove location. I picked up their business card that was right next to me at the counter and check that it is the number in my call registry and show her. She says she’s sorry but she doesn’t know what happened. So I gave them his insurance card and filled out all the paperwork. I made the second appointment for St. Patrick’s Day. Again, we show up and they tell us that the dentist isn’t in so we have to reschedule. I was beyond frustrated at their unprofessional attitude but, again ... 5 minutes from our house and takes his insurance. So I rescheduled for today. Just over an hour ago, we show up for my sons appointment ... the door says “open” but the lights are off and the door is locked!!! What the hell, Alivio?! After I return home and calm down a smidge, I look up that they are supposed to be open until 4 pm on Saturdays, so I call. The gentleman who answered (why are you even answering when your building is closed down) says that maybe I made the appointment with the Downers Grove location... I explain that I don’t even have their phone number and no, I live off Galena so naturally I made the appointment with the office on Galena! I tell him that I received a reminder yesterday from the office, he says they don’t do reminders anymore. He says my son isn’t even in the system... unprofessional is an understatement.
