About All In One Dental

All In One Dental is a dental practice on South Sepulveda Boulevard in the Westchester area of Los Angeles, California. Sedation dentistry uses inhaled, oral, or intravenous options to help patients relax through treatment, ranging from nitrous oxide for mild anxiety through to deeper sedation for longer or more involved procedures. It is commonly used for patients who have avoided the dentist for years due to fear.

Children benefit from starting dental visits early, generally by their first birthday or within six months of the first tooth coming through, mainly so they become familiar with the setting before any treatment is actually needed. Establishing that routine early tends to make ongoing checkups far less stressful for both child and parent.

Payment and insurance arrangements vary by practice and by treatment, so it is worth asking directly what is covered and what options exist for anything that is not, rather than assuming either way. Getting that clarified before treatment starts avoids surprises once it is underway.

Beyond any single treatment, most dental visits start with an examination — checking for decay, reviewing the gums, and looking at existing fillings or crowns — often alongside X-rays where there is a reason to look between or beneath teeth. That groundwork is what a dentist uses to explain any findings and set out next steps before you leave.

Routine attendance, roughly every six months for most people, is what actually keeps small problems small. A lot of decay and gum disease develops without any pain in its early stages, which is why regular checkups matter even when nothing seems to be wrong, rather than only booking an appointment once something hurts.

A first appointment at a new practice typically covers a full examination, a review of your dental and medical history, and a professional cleaning, with X-rays if you do not have recent ones. It is also a reasonable time to raise any longer-term concerns, cosmetic or otherwise, so they can be factored into a plan going forward. What sedation options are available at the dentist?
Commonly inhaled sedation, oral sedatives taken beforehand, and intravenous sedation for more involved cases. They differ in depth and in how long the effects last, so what is offered depends on the treatment and the practice.
Will I be unconscious under dental sedation?
Usually not. Most dental sedation leaves you conscious but deeply relaxed, often with little memory of the procedure afterward. General anaesthesia, where you are fully unconscious, is reserved for specific circumstances.
How often should I have a dental check-up?
Every six months suits most people. If you have gum disease or a history of decay a dentist may suggest coming more often. The point of regular visits is mostly to catch problems while they are still small and cheap to treat.

I’ve been a dental client there since the beginning of 2025. The dentists themselves are very good, and I didn’t have any issues with general treatment: fillings, crowns. However, I wouldn’t recommend doing root canals with them. They use a traveling endodontist who performed a root canal for me. Four months later, I developed inflammation, and it turned out there was an issue with one of the canals he did. It was a valuable lesson: root canals should be done by a dedicated specialist who uses advanced equipment, such as a microscope (you can't travel with it), to see everything clearly and prevent situations as happened with me. In the end, I was referred to another doctor and will need to pay about $2,000 out of pocket, as insurance typically doesn’t cover root canal retreatment.

Alyssa did a fantastic job of cleaning my teeth. I have had my teeth cleaned at another dentist and this by Alyssa was a far better experience . Can't wait to go back! Overall, a pleasant experience.

So amazing! I do not like ANY doctor or dentist appointment visits, BUT everyone here was perfect! I was running late, it was my first time going there. I called and the receptionist was super polite and helpful. She gave me very helpful directions about plenty of free parking in back and that it was close to Target. I arrived and the paperwork was ready for me to fill out. I didn't wait long at all after that. The hygienist and doctor were super friendly and efficient. They allowed me to ask a million questions. LoL Check out, same thing! I had many questions about the follow up procedures and insurance questions. All answered confidently and precise direction on next steps. Much appreciated everyone's time and expertise! Highly recommend. Also, psa, brush your teeth twice a day, people's! Lol So much less trouble in the long run that way!!😉🪥🪥🪥 ☮️💗😁
