I am someone who loves going to the dentist, I enjoy relaxing, and having someone work on my teeth and make them clean. I know must people find dentists scaring and intimidating and painful. I have never had that experience until today at Alpha Dental. I scheduled a routine 6 month cleaning, and a cavity fill. My previous dentist, who was great, and no longer takes my insurance, told me I had a cavity about 6 months ago but I stubbornly did not have it filled. Not only did this dentist office not have an dental hygenist come and clean my teeth, the actual doctor did, a process which I have never had any office do. This dentist began to clean my teeth furiously and with such speed and lack of grace that I seriously reconsidered whether she was a real dentist or not. I asked her to slow down and she repeatedly said that she always goes this fast and that no one complains. She continued her rough cleaning, barely cleaning my teeth and just performing an absolute massacre around my mouth. She sprayed water all over my mouth instead of rinsing it out after using the flouride. I have never felt so uncomforatble or mishandled at a dentist office in my life. She refused to clean my wisdom teeth, dont think she even attempted to clean my left side if teeth and denied seeing any cavity. I would urge every single person in Somerville to avoid this place like the plague. The interior was uncomforatble, cramped, loud, and dirty. The dentists were rood and unprofessional.
I loved the treatment I received at the establishment. The receptionist is lovely and always does her best to help. The assistants who help the dentists are simply wonderful. Everything there is perfect. They were able to help me when another professional didn't give me any assistance with a poorly done procedure, and even though they weren't the cause of the problem, they were able to help me. I highly recommend it.
Particularmente não tive uma experiência boa , eu paguei por um tratamento e o resultado não foi bom, eles também não são pontuais , sabemos que na correria do dia a dia tempo e dinheiro , e sabemos como é caro o tratamento dentário aqui, hoje eu estou refazendo tudo que fiz em outro consultório… 😭 não tem minha indicação

I’ve had consistently excellent experiences at this dental practice. This is the best dental care I’ve ever received. kind, patient, explains everything clearly. clean, modern, welcoming Staff friendly, organized, respectful , pain-free treatment, great outcomes. I felt comfortable and well cared for. She took time to explain my options. I no longer dread dental visits. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a trustworthy dentist. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
