I have been a patient of Anchorage Midtown Dental for about 5 years. It was recommended to me by a co-worker when I first moved to Alaska, and I can't thank them enough. I have had nothing but the best experience at this modern and inviting clinic; the staff as a whole are great, caring, and friendly. The majority of the time is spent with the dental hygienist, Thuy Vy, and that has been a delightful experience. She has been my hygienist for the entire time I have been going here, and I have seen my oral health steadily improve. I attribute a lot of that to Thuy's consistent education and care. She is very passionate about oral health and loves to educate patients on proper oral care. "Tough love" comes to mind (Floss, brush, water pik has been drilled into me, lol), but it comes from a place of compassion and care. l I felt like she was really invested in my improvement and really made me not only not fear dentist visits but actually enjoy them. I will be moving out of state soon and hope I can find a hygienist as great as Thuy, and a clinic as good as this one. (Note: hygienist name used with permission)
ThuyVy is the best hygienist - because of her treatment plan, my gums are now healthy and i am saving my teeth. Her advice on how to keep my gums clean and healthy is working. I feel like we are partners on the same team to save my teeth and keep my gums healthy. Thankful for ThuyVy's diligence, clear advice, and amazing treatment plan.
I am from out of town and broke a front crown. AMDC got me in the following day and set with a temporary and scheduled for a new crown five days later. My next appointment I had a perfect matching crown replacement. Dentist and staff were phenomenal in care and service. Office was clean, modern and professional. I have no reservations totally recommending this office for all dental needs. Thanks again AMDC!

Anchorage Midtown Dental Center has changed all my hesitations and fear with going to the dentist! As soon as you enter the office you are greeted with friendly faces and a BEAUTIFUL lobby and office space - it’s so inviting!! Their front office team are so friendly and accommodating - I had some questions prior to my apt and they called me that day to provide me answers regarding payment, comfort and pain management, and what to expect. They also send text reminders that I find super helpful since they have a same-day cancelation fee. I’ve been under the care of some AMAZING dental assistants during my visits to AMDC - Katherine is my favorite! She had me laughing the whole time, and totally changed the whole mood of my visit (I was having a lot of tooth pain/aches). Katherine was a champ at taking (many) x-rays of my teeth but was considerate and caring not to cause me additional pain and worked around my problem teeth. She’s awesome! Then enter Dr. Vivian Burk! She’s a straight shooter and I appreciated that about her. I admittedly hadn’t gone into the dentist for a year and my problem got worse, but instead of dwelling on that, she provided me a treatment plan and answers to ALL my questions. She was super kind and very “We got this” in spirit. She made me feel like she was on my team and just wanted to help get me pain free and smiling big again! I ended up needing to plan to get 4 wisdom teeth extracted - which seems big and scary but after talking with her I was put at ease and I don’t have any fear now. Which is HUGE as someone who has always hated/feared going to the dentist after some traumatizing dental experiences at other offices. They’ve made me felt safe, heard, and cared for at Anchorage Midtown Dental Center. For anyone who is looking for a dental office to switch to, or needs somewhere to establish dental care - THIS IS YOUR SIGN & YOUR PLACE!! *PS - I never leave reviews, but I’d leave a 100 for them! I had an incredible experience with my new dentist. She is truly amazing — caring, gentle, and extremely detail‑oriented. Anchorage Midtown Dental is the best dental office I've been to! The facility is modern and very clean, and the staff is super friendly. I've had 2 fillings there and they were done super fast and completely painless. And I go in for a cleaning every 6 months, the hygienist TheeyVy is amazing! She's given me great tips and it has really improved my brushing and flossing, which has in turn improved my overall gum health. Seriously a great experience every time I go!

Great Service at Anchorage Midtown Dental! I typically don't write reviews, but the great service I received at Anchorage Midtown Dental deserves one. My positive experience began with Leilani over the phone, who was awesome when setting up my appointment and clearly letting me know what to expect. On the day of my visit, the team was incredibly efficient. Dr. Burke and Ms. Chun conducted my initial exam, clearly explaining all my treatment options and necessary next steps. Best of all, they were able to schedule my cleaning for the same day. Brittany, who performed the cleaning, was truly outstanding. Not only does she have great vibes, but you can tell she takes immense pride in her work and is incredibly thorough--she likes her job. She was diligent during my cleaning and patiently answered every question and entertained each comment I had. Thanks to her detailed explanation, I finally understand and actually saw what tartar looks like. And she was able to get my cleaning done in 1 visit instead of 2! The entire staff made the experience informative, convenient, and excellent from start to finish. Highly recommend!
