I have been a client of Dr. Yu's and have never been disappointed with my care. His office staff and his dental assistants have always been so on top of everything....polite and on-time. I highly recommend Dr. Yu to anyone looking for a wonderful professional dentist.
First of all I can start with Barb at the front desk who is amazing at what she does, and also an awesome person that loves to help and it shows! Dr Andy Yu has a hand that’s so gentle, I don’t feel any pain with injections which has always led to my anxiety with dentists the numbing with the needle hurt so bad, but Dr Yu I don’t know how he does it but wow! I will be getting all my dental needs with this office.

Dr. Yu and his technicians & office staff were extremely helpful and kind. They handled an emergency tooth extraction with expertise and care. I have been going to this location for years, even before Dr. Yu took over. Everything before my last two visits has been exceptional. However, they would always give me quotes before work being done. I went in for a cleaning, the hygienist said I needed a deep cleaning, so only cleaned by front teeth, but don't worry, charged me for a full cleaning, had a few other things done while I was there like x-rays, but still cost a couple hundred. I then see the doctor, said everything looked good. I come in for the "deep" cleaning, scheduled for 2 hours, only took 1, and over half way through the hygienist said that everything looked pretty good, and I did not really have much build up. They charged me $1,000.00 without any warning. Which is almost 10 times the amount of a normal cleaning. I did not even get any numbing injections, glad I did not as I cannot tell if I would have been charged even more, or perhaps I was still over charged. Very disappointing. DO NOT listen to the hygienist for a deep cleaning. Double check with the doctor, and for the love of god, do not allow them to do any work on you until they give you a price. As a contract attorney I should have known better, but they never did this to me previously. I would have never agreed to have that work done without knowing the price first, which is normal practice.
Dr. Yu has been an excellent dentist! He listens as well as gives his recommendations while remaining professional and understanding. His office staff is very friendly and easy to work with. I highly recommend him!
It's rare for me to leave a review, but Dr. Yu and his staff are worth the effort. Aside from being absolutely brilliant at what he does, Dr. Yu is just the nicest, most down-to-earth guy ever. One of the most remarkable things in my years of experience with him is how he can inject the numbing medication without you even realizing a needle has been inserted. And not just once - multiple times for cavities, crowns, etc. He's a wizard! His longtime front desk assistant, Barbara, is one of the most efficient, friendly, helpful and likable people I've ever met, and his hygienists are the best (special shout out to Jasmine!). The entire office is a run like a well-oiled machine. I'll never go anywhere else, and I couldn't possibly recommend them any higher.
Dr. Yu’s practice is efficient and the staff are very friendly and supportive. If you don’t have dental insurance, they offer a family plan. Be sure to ask about that at your next visit.
