I had an excellent experience at Apollonia Dental and highly recommend Dr. Dunnington and her team. I recently had a smart mercury removal done from under a crown, followed by being refitted for a new crown. The entire process was handled with such care, professionalism, and attention to detail. As someone who values a holistic approach to dental care, I truly appreciated how thorough and thoughtful they were every step of the way. Even though the process took a little over a month to complete, it was absolutely worth it for the quality of care I received. A special thank you to Waleed, Dr. Dunnington’s assistant, who supported me from beginning to end. He made sure I was comfortable, informed, and at ease throughout the entire process. Apollonia is amazing. We have been to 4 other holistic/biological dentists and they are the only ones that have tried to find the root cause of my daughter’s chronic cavities. C. J. has always been such a huge help to Ryle. Friendly, patient, encouraging, and a high attention to detail. He always makes sure Ryle’s appliance is dialed in and fitting just right, which makes such a difference for a young boy trying to be diligent with his appliance. We’re so grateful to have C. J. helping us along this journey!

Dr. Dunnington has removed three mercury fillings and a lingual orthodontic bar from my mouth. She is gentle, caring and kind in treatment and incredibly well informed about biodentistry and overall health. I’m a big fan!

Our family has had a fantastic experience with Dr. Dunnington and the entire team. Dr. Dunnington, Tu, and Darla have helped several of our kids with different dental issues and have taught them so much about dental hygiene and how nutrition affects oral health. One of the most eye-opening things they did was swab the kids’ mouths and show them the bacteria living there—it was such a powerful visual and really motivated them to take better care of their teeth. They also gave us a great regimen to help combat harmful bacteria. CJ has been wonderful helping our kids with palate expansion to make room for crowded teeth. The office uses thorough imaging and takes the time to explain how mouth structure can impact the whole body. We love their holistic approach and learn something new every time we visit. Highly recommend!

Where to start? The office and treatment rooms are exceptionally clean, well-lit, and comfortable. The staff is friendly, upbeat, and knowledgeable. Dr. Dunnington is superb — you can genuinely tell she cares deeply about both her practice and her patients. What truly sets this office apart is its holistic approach. Rather than simply addressing symptoms, they work to identify and treat the root cause. Many practices focus only on surface-level issues, but here you receive thoughtful, comprehensive care. Do yourself a favor and go here first. Not just your mouth, but your entire body will thank you.

Can I just say how proud I am to be apart of this team?? Without a doubt, this is the most incredible and humbling experience I've ever had in my 15 years of dentistry. No office has EVER given me the freedom to learn and grow like Apollonia. Transitioning to biological dentistry is not easy but everyone is so kind, loving, and always willing to help one another (in and outside of the office). Comprehensive care here is very unique! What often gets overlooked in healthcare is an underdeveloped airway that starts with the mouth! Who knew that could be the possible root cause and contribution to so many underlying dental/medical illness like sleep apnea, fatigue, diabetes, obesity, thyroid, poor memory, grinding, TMJ, poor posture, aches and pains, heart disease, blood pressure, plus so much more! Through my personal experience, if I knew then what I know now, I would have never done orthodontics, twice. For someone who is considering orthodontics, get your airway evaluated first by CJ. Having a healthy airway and holistic mouth comes before esthetics. I highly encourage everyone looking for something different in dentistry to come experience comprehensive care with Dr. Dunnington.
