I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this office was extremely frustrating. One of our mutual patients asked me to contact the office on her behalf regarding an insurance matter. My first call resulted in being placed on hold for over 10 minutes before the call was disconnected. When I called back, I was transferred to the insurance department where no one answered. After several more minutes on hold, I was told someone would call me back at their earliest convenience. The patient specifically asked me to speak with Maggie. When I called again and requested her, I was placed on hold, and it appeared the call was screened. Despite explaining that I was trying to assist one of their patients, my call was disconnected again. I was eventually told that Maggie, the office manager, is always busy in consultations and essentially never available to speak. I completely understand that office managers are busy—that comes with the job. However, if a key team member is unavailable, there should be a system in place for another staff member to assist patients and other healthcare offices. Instead, I encountered long hold times, unanswered transfers, disconnected calls, and no one who seemed able or willing to help. My concern is not that a specific employee was unavailable. My concern is the apparent lack of communication, follow-through, and patient support when that person is unavailable. As someone who works in healthcare, I was simply trying to advocate for a mutual patient, and the experience felt disorganized, unprofessional, and unnecessarily difficult. I hope the office improves its phone procedures and communication processes for the benefit of its patients.
I transferred from another orthodontic office, and the difference was noticeable from the first appointment. Communication is clearer, appointments feel more personalized, and I always leave knowing exactly where I stand in the treatment process. The transition was smooth and much easier than I expected.
My son has had his braces for awhile now. In the beginning they were great. We are now experiencing being seen 15 to 30 minutes past our appointment time. There have been a few times I have had to reschedule because of other engagements because it was well past his appointment time. Time is important and I received several text messages and a phone call to.confirm we would be there at our scheduled time only to be seen late. I understand that sometimes things happen, but that is when communication comes into play. The lack of communication is what makes this most unexeceptable to me. I do hope they will do better in the future. Their time is important and so is ours. Plus there is no apologies for being late, but I would get charged and may have to reschedule if I was as.late as they are. I will seek a different place once he has his braces removed.
I am leaving this review because of a superstar by the name of Maggie. She is amazing, understanding, and kind. I was frustrated trying to find time to pick up my retainers because of my work schedule being the same as the business hours here. She went out of her way to help me out and mail my retainers which I received very quickly and it made my day! Will definitely recommend. Thank you Smile Straight and Arcadia!

What a wonderful experience for my 11-year-old daughter! She was nervous about getting braces and everything was perfect from the minute we walked in the door until we left. Very welcoming atmosphere, polite staff, the Dental team was so polite and understood knowing she was nervous, and we were in and out before she knew it now she can’t wait to go back to get the new colored bands - THANK YOU Arcadia Ortho!!
If I could give this place zero stars I definitely would. When we first came here it was absolutely amazing the Orthodontist was so nice his staff was amazing they listened to all my daughter’s concerns and her fears. Halfway through my daughter having braces on the new doctor came. Dr. Mehdipour’s she is extremely unprofessional tries to belittle you and downgrade you and does not listen to any of the children’s concerns or fears. A lot of the original staff also left that helped the original Orthodontist. I believe they took my daughter’s braces off way too early. Now it comes time to getting the retainer the retainers are so cheaply made. They are very quick to get your money but when it comes to making sure that they give you a good proper and sturdy retainer that’s where they lack that. Not only in customer service but being professional as well. My daughter has had a handful of retainers yes a couple she did lose but other ones literally cracked straight down the middle they have pictures of them or they’re not making them correctly to fit her teeth. When you bring this to their attention they continue to be rude, belittle you and finally we decided to part ways with them. They have refused to refund me the money that I paid for the insurance since we are no longer a patient of them anymore and I have called to ask to speak to the main supervisor was told he was supposed to call me several times never received one call .With all the money that they charge here I would definitely take your money somewhere else and go somewhere where they listen to you and your children and they do care about the overall health of your children’s dental health because this place definitely does not.
