About Argyle Dental Professionals

Argyle Dental Professionals provides dental care on Argyle Forest Boulevard in the Southwest area of Jacksonville, Florida. Sedation dentistry uses inhaled, oral, or intravenous options to help patients relax through treatment, ranging from nitrous oxide for mild anxiety through to deeper sedation for longer or more involved procedures. It is commonly used for patients who have avoided the dentist for years due to fear.

Routine attendance, roughly every six months for most people, is what actually keeps small problems small. A lot of decay and gum disease develops without any pain in its early stages, which is why regular checkups matter even when nothing seems to be wrong, rather than only booking an appointment once something hurts.

A first appointment at a new practice typically covers a full examination, a review of your dental and medical history, and a professional cleaning, with X-rays if you do not have recent ones. It is also a reasonable time to raise any longer-term concerns, cosmetic or otherwise, so they can be factored into a plan going forward.

Day-to-day oral health still comes down to the basics between visits — brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between the teeth, and limiting how often sugary food and drink appear through the day matters more than the total amount eaten at once. Regular professional care is what catches whatever those habits do not.

Digital X-rays are a routine part of dental care because they show what a visual exam alone cannot — decay forming between teeth, bone loss below the gumline, and how developing adult teeth are positioned in children. They use a low radiation dose and are taken on a schedule matched to individual risk rather than at every single visit.

Left untreated, small dental problems tend not to stay small. A minor cavity that would have been a straightforward filling can progress to needing root canal treatment and a crown, and early gum inflammation that would have reversed with a good cleaning can progress toward bone loss around the teeth. Catching things early is generally the difference in both effort and cost. This page has the practice's contact details and full service list. I hardly ever leave reviews, but I had an excellent experience at this dental office. Tasha cleaned my teeth and did a fantastic job. She was thorough, gentle, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire appointment. She took the time to explain what she was doing and offered helpful tips for maintaining good oral health. The office was clean, professional, and welcoming, and the entire staff was friendly and attentive. Thanks to Tasha’s great care and attention to detail, my teeth felt incredibly clean and refreshed afterward. I highly recommend this dental office, and I especially appreciate the outstanding service Tasha provided. I’ll definitely be returning for future cleanings!

From the very beginning, our experience with Argyle Dental Professionals has been incredibly positive. Adam needed several dental procedures completed before our wedding, and the team was extremely accommodating in helping us make that happen. They worked with their schedule to fit him in sooner so we could take care of as much as possible ahead of the ceremony, which meant a lot to us. Every person we have interacted with has been kind, welcoming, and professional. The team consistently remembers our names and takes the time to make us feel comfortable when we arrive. I was especially grateful that they allowed me, as his wife, to stay in the room with him during procedures to help ease some anxiety. That level of compassion and understanding really stood out to us. They have also been incredibly helpful when it comes to working with Adam’s VA coverage. The staff has put in the effort to pursue authorizations and navigate the process so he can utilize the benefits available to him. That kind of support makes a big difference when dealing with healthcare logistics. Another thing we deeply appreciate is their integrity in recommending treatment. Rather than immediately suggesting extractions, they took the time and care to try to repair and preserve Adam’s natural teeth whenever possible. We never felt like unnecessary procedures were being pushed, which built a lot of trust in their recommendations. The team works efficiently while still being attentive and compassionate. They consistently check in after appointments to make sure Adam is doing well and recovering comfortably, which shows how much they genuinely care about their patients. We are very grateful for the care Adam has received from Tasha (hygienist), Daniela (dental assistant), and Dr. Ashley. The entire experience has been extremely positive, and we would absolutely recommend Argyle Dental Professionals to anyone looking for a dental team that is skilled, honest, and truly cares about their patients.

I can’t say enough positive things about this place. I hadn’t been to a dentist in over 10 years so I was very nervous about my first visit. I was out completely at ease by every person I interacted with. They were kind and understanding. They have top of the line technology and ensure you fully understand each step of the process. My first visit was quite long and very thorough focused entirely about imaging and getting an understanding of what needed to be done with my teeth moving forward. No cleaning was done at that time. I went to my second appointment today where I got the cleaning done and it was so easy and quick. I was in/out within an hour and my dental hygienist, Tasha Koller, was the absolute best. Honestly, her portion alone would be enough to ensure I used their facility again. She really put me at ease and made sure I was comfortable. She was relatable and funny which helped a lot too! I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a new dental office.

Argyle Dental Professionals is the best! My entire family goes here. Our hygienist’s Tasha and Dana are amazing at what they do. From the time you walk in and are greeted by Donna this place provides the most welcome feeling of any dental office we’ve ever been too. Dr. Nguyen is by far the best DMD you will ever find.
