Dr. Upton and his staff always do a great job. They accommodate both my mom and me in side by side appointments. They are always on time and they do great job. They do what’s necessary, and never push unnecessary work. I trust them.

Finding a great dentist in the valley felt a bit daunting but after going to Dr Upton I realize that I have found a place I can trust. From the moment I walked in, the entire office radiates professionalism, care, and warmth. Alyssa at the front desk is exceptional, she’s organized, attentive, and makes every interaction seamless. Blanca, the dental assistant, is not only friendly and personable but also skilled and professional. Whitney, who handled my cleaning, gave me the best experience I’ve ever had and yes, I’m raving about a dental cleaning! Becky is just as caring and thoughtful as the rest of the team and makes you feel like family. It’s clear that everyone here genuinely cares. After moving to the area from the Midwest, I struggled to find a dentist who matched the quality I was used to. I visited a local dentist who told me I needed 12 fillings, which was shocking since I hadn’t had a cavity since I was 12. I was skeptical but prepared to move forward, until my son (in his 20s) went to the same dentist and was told he also needed 12 preventative fillings. I decided to research and educate myself about different dental approaches, which led me to Dr. Upton and his practice. Dr. Upton is one of the few dentists in the valley specializing in biomimetic dentistry, which focuses on preserving as much of the natural tooth as possible and using the highest quality materials for long term solutions with an emphasis on care, prevention, and minimally invasive procedures only when necessary. From the moment I met Dr. Upton, I could tell this place was different in the best way possible. He was consultative, thorough, and took the time to explain everything in detail. Its something I’d never experienced before. During my evaluation, Dr. Upton used microphotography to examine my teeth and found only one spot that needed attention, not 12. He also identified issues with my 30 year old silver fillings, which had developed cracks and leaks. We discussed treatment options, and I decided to go with gold onlays for the affected teeth because I was looking for the best long term solution for my situation. Dr. Upton took the time to ensure everything was done perfectly, and the results are amazing. The onlays look and feel incredible, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. From my perspective what sets Dr. Upton apart is his commitment to innovation and patient care. What you will notice as you go in to his office is that he’s constantly seeking out the latest education and technology to provide the highest quality of care. His approach is a refreshing blend of expertise, honesty, and genuine compassion. He’s not just a dentist; he’s a master of his craft who truly cares about his patients’ long term health and well being. I can’t recommend Dr. Upton enough. Super honest vulnerable review here - because I think it's important to share my experience. I struggle with mental health, and my oral care routine is the first thing to go and the last thing to come back in the dark times. Today I had an appointment and I was spiraling with dread. Then it hit me that I could email ahead. I wrote to Dr. Upton that I had been struggling, that my care was lax, and that I just couldn't receive feedback about it today. He said they'd keep it short & sweet. During my appointment the only "business" question was if I'm experiencing pain (thankfully I am not). They took care of me without judgement and we'll figure the rest out when I'm ready. In the past I'd avoid the dentist for literal years out of the shame. At Arrowhead Dentistry I am safe to take care of my health even when I'm not at my best.

Dr. Upton has been my dentist for a long time. He is a great dentist! His current hygienist Whitney is fabulous. Becky is a wonderful lady. Alyssa, who I have not known long, also seems great. How crazy is it to enjoy going to the Dentist?!
