Arrowhead Periodontics

Can't say enough good things about Dr. Kumar and the team at Arrowhead Periodontics. I came in for a second opinion on a gum graft, and the difference in care compared to my first consultation elsewhere was night and day. Dr. Kumar assessed my entire mouth, not just the problem area, measuring gum health and recession throughout. He took the time to walk me through the specific technique and stitches he'd use. He even showed me exactly how to brush around the sensitive areas. He also explained that a frenectomy I'd been told I needed as a separate surgery could actually be done during the same procedure as the graft, which saved me an extra surgery, recovery, and cost (I saved almost 3K!!!!! even with IV anesthesia for procedure) The whole team was patient, answered every question thoroughly, and clearly takes the time to make sure patients feel informed and at ease before a procedure. Even small touches, like being told I could bring my own pillow or blanket for the appointment, showed how much they think about patient comfort. Highly recommend if you want a periodontist who is thorough, communicative, and genuinely cares about getting it right.

Very unfortunate experience here. My husband was referred by our dentist, who is hands down the best dentist in the business, and she generally only refers us to very high caliber providers. But if you are coming here, make sure to call well in advance of your procedure in order to financially plan for payment and basically do their job for them. This office will NOT proactively communicate any changes to the established treatment plan and insurance, but they will turn around and demand a payment thousands of dollars above the plan they previously told you about, and they’ll do it as a surprise on the day of your procedure. Incredibly disappointed in their lack of consideration, proactiveness, and general preparedness. I expect more from professionals. You can find a better provider.

Dr Kimble has been excellent and really treats his patients well. Staff very pleasant and professional.

Dr. Kimble is amazing! He is very personable with his patients and does fantastic work! His front desk staff are top notch as are all his dental assistants! Highly recommend this practice!

This was my first visit to see Dr. Kimble and staff. I was referred by my dentist as my previous periodontist had moved back to CA to be near family. I definitely like the experience I had with Dr. Kimble and his staff. I was given detailed information on my teeth plus on the implant procedure. I left with a treatment plan. Dr Kumar was incredibly caring, gentle and respectful with my elderly father. He took the time to make sure he was comfortable and answered my questions with so much patience and understanding. The office staff was also excellent in every way. I highly recommend Dr Kumar.

Everyone is super friendly. Janelle, the hygienist knows her stuff. Always asks about the happenings of my family and inquires about my hobby and where I’m off to next. Great place !!!

Dr. Kimble is very kind and has a great sense of humor. He made me feel at ease even though I was nervous about getting a dental implant. Previously, I had a bad experience with another dental surgeon. Everything went well and I’m very happy with the results. Also, their staff is wonderful! They are friendly and knowledgeable.
