About Asclepius Dental Center of Laredo

Asclepius Dental Center of Laredo is a dental practice on Jacaman Road, offering general dentistry alongside more specific care most patients eventually need. Jacaman Road runs through a residential section of the city, and a neighborhood practice there tends to handle everything from a child's first cleaning to an adult's wisdom tooth removal without referring the more involved cases elsewhere. Keeping surgical and restorative work in-house alongside routine exams matters most once a patient needs more than a checkup and would otherwise have to find a second office, then coordinate records and scheduling between two separate dental practices.

The practice's own services page lists exams and cleanings, periodontal cleaning, crowns, bridges, dentures, and tooth-colored fillings as its general dentistry base, with oral surgery covering wisdom tooth extraction and related complications. Cosmetic dentistry includes porcelain veneers and in-office professional whitening. Its most distinctive offering is dental implants placed alongside PRF, a technique that uses a patient's own blood components to support healing, positioned as an alternative to dentures for replacing missing teeth. Oral sedation is available for patients who find procedures like extractions difficult to sit through awake.

If a missing tooth has you considering dentures, an implant option that leans on your body's own healing process is worth discussing before deciding between the two.

What any of this costs depends on the procedure — a cleaning, a filling, and an implant with PRF are priced nothing alike, so a written estimate after an exam is the only reliable way to know what a specific case will cost before agreeing to anything beyond a cleaning. Most major insurance plans are accepted, though implants and sedation are commonly subject to separate coverage limits worth confirming beforehand. For patients along the Jacaman Road corridor, having oral surgery, implants, and everyday cleanings handled at one office cuts down on referrals to separate specialists.

Asclepius Dental Center of Laredo on Jacaman Road offers general dentistry, oral sedation, dental implants placed with PRF, and oral surgery including wisdom teeth extraction, plus cosmetic care such as porcelain veneers and in-office teeth whitening for patients throughout the neighborhood.

What services does Asclepius Dental Center of Laredo offer?
Listed services at Asclepius Dental Center of Laredo include Dental Implants, Veneers, Cosmetic Dentistry, Wisdom Teeth Removal and Dental Crowns. The full list is shown on this page.
Why do wisdom teeth cause problems?
They arrive last, often into a jaw with no room left, so they become impacted or come through at an angle. Partly erupted wisdom teeth are also very difficult to clean, which is why they are prone to repeated infection and decay.
Do wisdom teeth always need to be removed?
No. Wisdom teeth that come through cleanly, in a good position, and can be kept clean are often left alone. Removal is generally advised when they are impacted, repeatedly infected, decayed, or damaging the tooth in front.
How long do dental crowns last?
Many last a decade or considerably longer, though it depends heavily on the material, the bite, and whether you grind your teeth. Crowns can still develop decay at the margin where they meet the tooth, so they need the same check-ups and flossing as natural teeth.

I had such a positive experience at Asclepius! From the moment I walked in, the staff was so kind, welcoming, and attentive. They made me feel comfortable right away and you can tell they truly care about their patients. The office is spotless and very modern, which also helped put me at ease. Dr. Abdul is incredibly kind and thorough. He explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt relaxed throughout my visit. His gentle approach took all the stress out of going to the dentist and has turned me into a lifelong customer. I left feeling well cared for and confident about my dental health. I highly recommend Dr. Abdul and the wonderful team at Asclepius to anyone looking for excellent care!

Went here just for a checkup. I am new to town and was recommended this place by a friend. The doctor jammed his pick into some fillings I had really hard. Cleaning was good, but I was told I needed a crown because of a cavity and had an additional cavity in a different moler. Got bad vibes from the DR and when the assistant called fluoride "tooth vitamins" got a second opinion and after getting a whole new set of x rays was told I didnt even have any cavities in the first place. If I could give 0 stars I would
