Aspen Dental

I tried to transfer my care from a different Aspen dental location out of state and continue my Motto aligner care and dental care in Albuquerque (only one Aspen location in Albuquerque open on 2424 Louisiana blvd). After the first appointment at Aspen on 2424 Louisiana Blvd, Albuquerque where I explained that I hoped the dentist would help with my aligner care, I got a sense he wasn't not enthusiastic about addressing my need, but reluctantly agreed to see me next. After the second appointment (that took about 3 minutes total) where the dentist created spaces between my teeth to ensure my teeth were moving as they should, he said to me "I am not supposed to help you because you initiated care somewhere else. I am doing it as a courtesy, I am not supposed to do it" and he walked out of the room. He really wanted to make sure I knew and felt that my issue and my care wasn't important to him and that he was bothered by it. No follow up plan, no goodbye- just left the room. That conversation made me feel shocked and confused, and I told the assistant who was in the room and witnessed the conversion that that exchange didn't make me feel welcome here as a patient. Why did he have to reiterate it multiple times that helping me was not what he was supposed to do? The dentist (and practice owner) made me feel like a bother, a waste of his time and that's an awful feeling to experience in a "professional" dental office. The assistant brought the dentist back to the room who immediately said "That's not what I said-I didn't say you aren't welcome here" to which I replied that he didn’t say it but his comments made me feel extremely unwelcome and that I would appreciate a different kind of attitude towards my dental issues and my care. He said in front of his assistant "You are done here. Go back to Vegas and receive your care there. I am done with you" I have never experienced this type of rude and horrendous customer service and arrogant attitude from any medical professional in my life. It's not the friendly helpful neighborhood dentist experience I am used to. Especially coming from a practice owner who could try caring about people and their dental problems a little more or at least pretend to. It felt like "you aren't bringing any money, you are another dentist's problem (even from another Aspen), you are a bother so I will make sure you know your care isn't important to us and we are doing you a huge favor and we will keep rubbing it in your face" And when you bring up your concern about feeling unwelcome, he will try to flex his muscles knowing he is the only Aspen dentist in town and will kick you out of his office knowing that you are left with no options since Motto aligners are specific only to the Aspen chain. Empathy is not his thing. I was told that transferring care wouldn't be a problem because Aspen is a chain, but this local Aspen owner feels bothered finishing up someone else's work because “it’s free” and will be very explicit about it, will rub it in your face and will guilt trip you for it. I feel bad for his staff-they all seem like nice people there and I am sorry they have to witness unacceptable and unprofessional behavior from their boss towards his patients. Clearly, a dental office to stay far far away from in Albuquerque.

Words can't describe the professionalism showed by each employee. I can think of one word to describe my experience..... "OUTSTANDING:

Very professional and polite and . Explained everything very well . I drive 2 and a 1/2 hours. And I will definitely be going back

I payed in full for uppers and lower with gold..Since day one, when I got my permits dentures was not happy!! They never lined up right and could never fix them right at all. if I could would not even give them one star!!! Went through 5 doctors since then.. they have broken in the same place over and over again.. when it’s time to fix them they always have an excuse why they can’t fix them right!!! They won’t replace them cause of the gold price.. Just know they can’t do what they say or as advertised, plus closed on the. Weekend dose not work when you work all week.. they only have one location in town!! If I could would have not wasted my hard earned money here!!!! Don’t make the same mistake!!!!

The staff at Aspen are amazing! From the front office person, to the office manager, to the hygienist and the dentist I felt cared for and helped all the way through. The team helped me with some long-standing challenges I have had and I am already making progress on my goals. Strongly recommend.

I lost a tooth on my denture, I called alb. Office, I told her I had work on them In los lunas, but that office was closed permanently. I told her what I needed, they said be here before 4:00. I told her I would be there in 20 minutes. When we arrived it was 2:15, they had a sign they were taking lunch, to have a seat. They didn't come to the front until 3:00. She took my dentures back with the tooth to show the dr. She came back and said they were unable to fix them. You need a new set, let me schedule that. I told her I needed the others fixed for a graduation party. She said well let's get that appointment set for a new one, now. I refused, I went to another dentist and he was able to fix them. I will never give them any of my business again! They don't want to help you, they just want to get as much money from you that they can!

Each visit I have had with this Aspen Dental location has been amazing! Paige was super helpful with scheduling all my appointments and breaking down payments to be as transparent and realistic with me. I appreciate the attentiveness and care I received from Cely, Dr. Aurora and Amaris! Thank you so much for all you have done!

I had a great experience at Aspen Dental. The office was clean, organized, and had a really welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly from the moment I walked in, and everything felt smooth and professional. Jackie was amazing throughout my entire visit. She was super kind, patient, and made me feel comfortable right away. She explained everything clearly and made sure I understood what was going on, which I really appreciated. You can tell she genuinely cares about the patients and wants them to have a good experience. Jackie definitely made the visit way better, and I’d highly recommend her!
