About Aspen Dental

Based on Southwest Wanamaker Road in the Southwest Topeka area of Topeka, Kansas, Aspen Dental is a dental practice serving the area. A dental implant replaces a missing tooth at the root, not just the crown — a small titanium post is placed in the jaw bone and, once it has integrated over a period of months, a replacement tooth is attached to it. It is generally the most durable option for a single missing tooth or several.

A veneer is a thin custom shell bonded to the front of a tooth to change its shape, length, or colour, most often used to address chips, gaps, or discoloration that whitening alone cannot fix. Traditional veneers require a small amount of enamel to be removed, which makes the change permanent.

Cosmetic dentistry covers treatment aimed primarily at appearance — whitening, veneers, bonding, and reshaping among the more common options — for patients who are less concerned with a problem that hurts than with how their smile looks day to day. The right combination depends on what specifically you would like to change.

Root canal treatment removes infected or inflamed tissue from inside a tooth, cleans and seals the space, and allows the natural tooth to be kept rather than extracted. Its reputation for being painful is largely outdated — carried out under local anaesthetic, it typically relieves pain rather than causing it.

Emergency dental care covers sudden problems that will not wait for a routine appointment — severe pain, a knocked-out or fractured tooth, swelling, or a lost filling that leaves a tooth exposed. Same-day or urgent appointments are the point of an emergency service, rather than the standard multi-week booking window.

A crown covers an entire damaged tooth — used when too much structure is missing for a filling to hold reliably, whether from a large fracture, extensive decay, or after root canal treatment. It restores both the shape and the biting strength of the tooth underneath. You can reach Aspen Dental through this page to ask a question, check current availability, or request an appointment.

From out of town and had a crown fall off in Topeka. Walked into Aspen Dental, they completed X-ray and were able to cement it back on and within the hour I was done and on my way. Receptionist was very polite and helpful, support staff was knowledgeable, and dentist was top notch. Highly recommend. Thanks for the assist!!

Aspen Dental was able to see me next day as a new patient. Everyone there was friendly and explained what was going on while it was happening.

Staff were all very friendly and supplied all info I needed included estimated prices for each procedure recommended. It was easy to make appointments or reschedule. Good place to spend $29.00 and get diagnosis of what needed to be done. For actual procedures I'll probably check out other up options around.

Terrible experience!! Waste of time and money for absolutely not one thing! Came to get a tooth filled they wanted to sell me $25,000 worth of work instead. They wouldn’t dot the filling because she said I should do what she recommended instead. That “this would pressure me into doing it instead” then had me wait in the waiting room for like 30 min until I said I had to go to work. Then charged me over $100 to do nothing. I never knew they were not going to do what I needed in That moment. They charged me for x-rays which is fine, if they actually did the filling. Got it filled from my dentist the next day and also had to pay $100. It honestly left me so pissed! I will never come again nor will I ever recommend. Would never recommend ever!

I know a lot of people had negative things to say, and I was one of those at the beginning. But after awhile, things got a lot better. I don't know if it was just staffing changes or corporate policies changing. I put off dental work because of the cost. Until I had a tooth break. After that, I realized how bad my teeth were, and I made the huge decision to have my upper teeth extracted and have dentures put in. Lacey worked with me on the money side, and that helped a lot. The procedure wasn't as bad as I thought it would be (until later when the numbing wore off). It was a lot of pain. But Jazmin and Dr. Katie were great at helping me through it. I had a one week post surgery appt today and only had problems with a few spots on the dentures (which are temp and will be replaced with my permanent ones in 3 months. Everyone there is so kind and helpful. The receptionist Linsey is so warm and bright whenever I come in. I will be leaving a review on the company's website too.

Amazing people work here. I was embarrassed about my teeth before coming here, but they made me feel comfortable, cared for, and welcomed. The staff are incredibly friendly and inspiring. The only negative experience I had was that no one introduced themselves. I never heard a “Hello, my name is…” from the hygienist or doctor, and I think that personal introduction would have made the experience feel even more comfortable and professional.

My family had a wonderful experience with this facility while they cared for my mother. Every staff member we encountered was kind, professional, and genuinely helpful. They took the time to guide us through each step of the process, ensuring we felt informed and supported throughout. I highly recommend this organization to anyone in need of compassionate and attentive care. We are truly grateful for their support and would not hesitate to return in the future.
