About Associated Dental & Orthodontics Glendale

Associated Dental & Orthodontics Glendale provides dental care on West Bell Road in the Brandywine Estates area of Glendale, Arizona. Traditional braces use brackets and wires to gradually move teeth into alignment, handling complex bite corrections and significant crowding more predictably than removable alternatives. Treatment commonly runs one to three years, with a retainer worn afterward to hold the result.

Orthodontic treatment straightens teeth and corrects bite problems using braces, clear aligners, or similar appliances over a period that commonly runs from about a year to several years depending on the case. It is offered to both children, where early evaluation can catch developing issues, and adults at any age.

Routine attendance, roughly every six months for most people, is what actually keeps small problems small. A lot of decay and gum disease develops without any pain in its early stages, which is why regular checkups matter even when nothing seems to be wrong, rather than only booking an appointment once something hurts.

A first appointment at a new practice typically covers a full examination, a review of your dental and medical history, and a professional cleaning, with X-rays if you do not have recent ones. It is also a reasonable time to raise any longer-term concerns, cosmetic or otherwise, so they can be factored into a plan going forward.

Day-to-day oral health still comes down to the basics between visits — brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between the teeth, and limiting how often sugary food and drink appear through the day matters more than the total amount eaten at once. Regular professional care is what catches whatever those habits do not.

Digital X-rays are a routine part of dental care because they show what a visual exam alone cannot — decay forming between teeth, bone loss below the gumline, and how developing adult teeth are positioned in children. They use a low radiation dose and are taken on a schedule matched to individual risk rather than at every single visit. This page has the practice's contact details and full service list. Are braces or clear aligners better?
Fixed braces handle complex movements and severe cases more predictably. Aligners are removable and far less visible, but they only work while you actually wear them, so they suit people who will keep to the routine.
Do braces hurt?
Fitting them does not hurt, but teeth are usually tender for a few days afterward and again after each adjustment. It settles as the teeth adapt, and over-the-counter pain relief covers it for most people.

Was skeptical on going to this appointment since I have a dental phobia and the reviews were not good. However; the front desk staff was welcoming and efficient. When Chance came to take me back I was surprise his ability to calm my nerves while listening to my frame of mind. He and the front desk offered other options to get me through the appointment to include rescheduling. The provider was another plus. He explained the procedure ; options and checked on me throughout the service to insure my comfort. I would give them more stars if available.

Dr. Aljuboori and her team were excellent. She was professional, efficient, and made the visit quick and painless. Her assistant, Chance, was very informative, helpful, and easy to talk to throughout the appointment. I appreciated how comfortable they made the experience and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality dental care.

I’m happy with the service I have received. Fitted for upper denture & worked very hard to get the bottom partial to fit properly. It’s a great place if you want quality service. I would highly recommend Associate Dental

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Associated Dental office. I called in with an infected tooth, scared in a lot of pain, and they took me in immediately and performed oral surgery the same day. From the moment I met Chance, the Dental Assistant , I was treated with kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion. Chance, was absolutely outstanding, knowledgeable, confident, and professional, that I honestly would have thought he was a dentist himself. He made me feel calm, informed, and comfortable throughout the entire experience. Dr Noorhan Aljuboori, dental surgeon was equally incredible. I was expecting the worst and was extremely nervous, but she was so comforting, personable, and skilled that she completely put me at ease. The entire procedure went far better than I could have imagined. This team went above and beyond in every way. If you are looking for an exceptional dental care from people who truly care about their patience, I highly recommend them, especially Dr. Aljuboori and her assistant Chance!!

Everyone on the team is wonderful! We have been going to them for years! Even when the dentist has been put on the back burner because let's face it we all don't enjoy going, they make you feel so comfortable! They also have in-house insurance which helps A LOT for cash paying customers! Molly was our recent hygienist and she is phenomenal! Thanks for all that you do Associated Dental

I've been going to this dental office for years, but have had a couple poor experiences the past 2 years. My first poor experience was a little over a year ago, where the hygienist accidentally popped my permanent retainer off. They made me come back another day to get it fixed instead of fixing it at that time (I had to take additional time off work and find child care again). They also asked if I wanted fluoride without telling me it would be an additional charge. I did try calling the office with this feedback and never got a follow up about it, just that they "should've told me beforehand". Then for my appointment a couple weeks ago, the dentist came to check my teeth prior to the hygienist cleaning, which was unusual. My appointment was at the end of the day so I figured she wanted to go home early or something. During the cleaning, the hygienist got floss stuck in my teeth between my molars. After a solid 10/15 minutes of working on it, she asked if it felt normal. I said it felt better (there was still some stuck) but she called it good and I just wanted her to stop anyway. I asked if a dentist could come look and she said we'd have to schedule for another day. When I got to the front desk, they said the earliest appointment with my dentist would be in the new year lol. I asked if they had any other appointments with any other dentists, and they said the following week was the earliest they had. I went home and got the floss out with some pliers. I also realized the hygienist caused a scratch/cut at the corner of my mouth from all the pulling with floss she did to try to get the first floss unstuck. Quite a bit of blood in my mouth for a standard cleaning. Overall, I've been disappointed with my appointments these past couple years, but I wanted to give 3 stars for the years prior of good service.
