About Aurora Bright Dental

Aurora's 60504 corner runs southeast toward Montgomery and blurs into Naperville along the Route 59 corridor, and Suite 103 at 2003 Montgomery Road sits in that stretch of suburban office frontage with parking at the door. No downtown one-way system, no hunting for a meter. That is a small thing until you are arriving with a car seat, a stroller or a wheelchair, at which point it is the whole visit. Families in southeast Aurora, Montgomery, Oswego and the eastern subdivisions have the shortest run. The schedule is strictly weekday: 9 to 5 Monday through Thursday and a half day on Friday to noon, with nothing at the weekend, so working parents tend to take either the first appointment of the morning or the last of the afternoon.

General dentistry is the base of the practice, with cleanings, fillings, whitening, braces and clear aligners, implants, and a clear emphasis on children and on patients who find dental treatment difficult, including those with special dental needs. Preventive work for children is where that emphasis shows most plainly. A sealant is a flowable resin painted into the deep grooves on the biting surface of a newly erupted molar and hardened with a curing light. Those grooves are narrower than a toothbrush bristle, so they hold food that brushing physically cannot reach, and filling them removes the hiding place. Sealants do not cover the sides of the teeth where molars touch, which is exactly where flossing still earns its keep, and they are checked for wear at each recall.

Implants are placed for adults missing single teeth or larger spans. Placement seats a titanium fixture in the jawbone, the bone locks around it across several months, and an abutment and crown are built on top of it afterwards. Cost varies more than most people expect, driven by whether the site needs grafting, how much bone height remains, and which tooth is being replaced, so a figure quoted before imaging is only ever an estimate. For patients without dental insurance the practice runs a membership plan with discounted fees and no deductibles or waiting periods, and it also operates a mobile service for community health screenings.

A weekday general practice in Suite 103 at 2003 Montgomery Road, in the southeast corner of Aurora near the Montgomery and Naperville lines, with parking at the door. Services include exams and cleanings, sealants and children's dentistry, whitening, braces and clear aligners, and dental implants, with particular attention to nervous patients and those with special dental needs. Hours run 9 to 5 Monday through Thursday and to noon on Friday, and a membership plan is offered for patients without insurance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a good office for a child who is nervous about the dentist?
The practice makes a point of working with anxious patients and with patients who have special dental needs, and the room is set up to feel quiet rather than clinical. For a first visit the useful approach is a short appointment with no treatment planned: a ride in the chair, a count of the teeth, a polish if the child allows it. Bringing a child along to a parent's own appointment beforehand removes most of the fear.
What does a sealant do, and does my child still need to floss?
A sealant is a flowable resin painted into the deep grooves of a newly erupted molar and set with a curing light. Those grooves are narrower than a toothbrush bristle, so they trap food that brushing cannot physically reach, and sealing them removes the hiding place. Sealants do not cover the sides of the teeth, which is precisely where contact between molars holds plaque. Flossing still matters, and sealants are checked for wear at each visit.
What are the opening hours, and is there any weekend cover?
The office runs Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closes at noon on Friday, with no Saturday or Sunday hours. In practice that means working parents book either the first appointment of the morning or the last of the afternoon, and those two fill fastest. If you need evening or weekend availability regularly, say so when you call so the schedule can be planned around school and work commitments.

I can honestly say that I enjoy going to the dentist! I know that people always fear the dentist, I never have, but this is the most welcoming atmosphere I’ve ever experienced. The entire staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Kanani knows exactly what she’s doing! I couldn’t ask for a better Dentist!♥️

I went to Bright Dental a little over a year ago, and I’m so glad I did — they literally saved my smile. I was missing a molar, a canine, and a front tooth. My other front tooth was also loose from a sports injury. I’d been putting off going to the dentist for years because I hate doctor visits, but the whole team made me feel very comfortable right away. Seny, Nancy, and Eddy are awesome — not only great at their jobs but genuinely good people. They explained everything clearly, kept me informed the whole time, and made the whole experience much easier than I expected. Thank you, Eddy, for all your help! Ever since I met Dr. Kanani, I knew she was the perfect dentist for me. It’s clear she really knows what she’s doing with dental implants and everything else in between! I’m so glad I stayed with her. She completely transformed my teeth and my confidence. She is hands-down the best dentist I’ve ever been to. Highly recommend Bright Dental!

Love bright dental! I refer anybody who will listen to me. Growing up I didn’t have the best dental experience and dreaded going to the dentist, but when I stepped foot into the bright dental office I felt welcomed and relaxed. The team at bright dental are amazing, kind, and patient. I especially appreciate Dr. Kanani and Seny!
