About AZ Max
Based on East Rittenhouse Road in the Power Ranch area of Queen Creek, Arizona, AZ Max is a dental practice serving the area. Wisdom teeth are removed when they are impacted, repeatedly infected, decayed, or damaging the tooth in front, since they arrive last and often into a jaw with no room left. Not every wisdom tooth needs to come out — one that erupts cleanly and can be kept clean is often left alone.
A first appointment at a new practice typically covers a full examination, a review of your dental and medical history, and a professional cleaning, with X-rays if you do not have recent ones. It is also a reasonable time to raise any longer-term concerns, cosmetic or otherwise, so they can be factored into a plan going forward.
Day-to-day oral health still comes down to the basics between visits — brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between the teeth, and limiting how often sugary food and drink appear through the day matters more than the total amount eaten at once. Regular professional care is what catches whatever those habits do not.
Digital X-rays are a routine part of dental care because they show what a visual exam alone cannot — decay forming between teeth, bone loss below the gumline, and how developing adult teeth are positioned in children. They use a low radiation dose and are taken on a schedule matched to individual risk rather than at every single visit.
Left untreated, small dental problems tend not to stay small. A minor cavity that would have been a straightforward filling can progress to needing root canal treatment and a crown, and early gum inflammation that would have reversed with a good cleaning can progress toward bone loss around the teeth. Catching things early is generally the difference in both effort and cost. This page has the practice's contact details and full service list. Awesome, professional and took the time explaining everything in detail to me during my entire visit. I’m hands down happy to be in the care of AZ Max!!
The whole staff took great care of our kids. Drs were friendly and helpful. Attentive even in follow up.
Excellent, understanding, and polite staff. I had an issue that I brought to 3 other dentists, who outright told me it was out of their scope of care, and said my issue was too far advanced for them to operate on. One visit to this dentist and they asked if I wanted it done and said they had zero problems operating. 100/100 all the way. Thank you so very much to Dr Lemieux and the great medical staff on his care team for their amazing work!
A very good experience
Great recovery experience, thanks for doing good work!
I highly recommend Dr. Greg Romney and the staff at AZ Max. They are all so kind and professional and take the time to thoroughly explain the procedures. Both pre-op, post-op and at the time of the procedure. Dr. Romney did an amazing job with my procedure. There was a high risk of me possibly having permanent or long term numbness following my surgery, but, I am so pleased and grateful I do not have any lingering facial numbness. I definitely give them 5 Stars.
I recently visited Dr. Lemieux for a painful longstanding bump on my upper right gum. He treated me with the utmost kindness and concern, and said that removing it might cause further problems. He referred to another specialist he felt could help me more. Dr Lemieux was very well trained and yet so down to earth to talk to. His staff also treated me with the greatest kindness. I would highly recommend him and his staff to my family and friends and I of course would also return. Thank you so much for your expert opinion on my present situation too.
I was impressed with the high ratings of this office and now understand why they are so highly rated. My daughter had 3 wisdom teeth removed. There were some scheduling issues and they were very professional in acknowledging and apologizing for the issues. My daughter had a really hard time after the procedure and I called the doctor on call over the weekend. He was prompt in getting back to me, super helpful and very kind. He even texted later on Saturday to make sure she was doing better. Everyone I have talked to has been professional and kind. They have an excellent office culture which is very rare these days. So good for them and good for me as I have another child scheduled for more wisdom teeth removal with them soon!
Couldn’t have designed a better experiences. Of course no one wants to have oral surgery but like many, it was the best option and from my first consult, I felt confident in the company. The staff, beginning with the receptionist and finalizing with the doctor, I knew I would be taken care of. They worked through all the insurance for me to keep my costs as low as possible and they helped me prepare for the day of surgery. I’m home sitting in the lazy boy from a 10:30 am surgery and I wish I could give you details but I don’t remember much beyond they just saying… “relax and we’ll begin in a few minutes”. 7 hours later without any medication other than the pill to fight off any possible infection, I’m in ZERO PAIN! Hope it continues and for most I’m guessing there usually follows some pain but in my case… none so far. Great place to get work done. Great waiting area for my sweetheart to relax while she waited. I recovered and came back to the world in a comfortable lounge. They helped me get to my car and my wife took me home. The post surgery services are over the top with detailed direction for daily do’s and dont’s.
Dr Romney and his staff are amazing! When my insurance changed they gave me a discount tyat made it possible for me to do the procedure. Dr. Romney and staff did an amazing job with my oral surgery today! Then when I get home to recover I am sent flowers from the office! This was absolutely amazing! I would recommend them to anyone looking for an Oral Surgeon.
