Bandera Dental Care

I've never been to a better dental clinic! The long drive for routine cleaning has unfortunately gotten to me. If I ever have dental problems in the future, I will be back. Thanks for the few years I was able to tolerate San Antonio drivers!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Alex for routine dental checkups for 5 years. All have been consistently smooth! Recently I cracked a tooth, which required a crown. I was very, very anxious going into the procedure. Dr. Alex and his staff completely changed my outlook on dental procedures. He was intentional about the entire process. He was patient with me, but not rushed. He thoroughly discussed all of my options and I felt like I was a part of the treatment planning process. I felt no pain, and I wasn’t overly numbed which can be annoying afterwards. You can tell that the team values patient comfort and care!

Dr. Ionesco is patient, friendly, and concerned for comfort while doing procedure, which was very comforting to me. I broke a filling after hours the night before Thanksgiving, called the office and left a message and he called me back within a couple of hours and offered to see me at the office on Friday

I scheduled an appointment for a regular dental cleaning & fluoride treatment. The staff treated me with respect & patiently answered my questions. They also helped me with filling out my new patient forms. Even though the building is older in age, the medical equipment is top notch. The environment was clean & professional, as well as the bathrooms. Given the fact that there's only one dentist, I did have to wait for some time, but I didn't mind. My visit with Dr. Alex went better than I expected. He was casual, kind, & gentle in his manners. In addition, he was patient in explaining to me my X-rays (my wisdom teeth in particular) & where I could make some improvements in my oral hygiene. One thing I will have to admit though is that their website doesn't work & sometimes it can be hard to get through when calling. This was my first time here & it won't be my last! Overall, I'm happy with my experience & would recommend Dr. Alex to anyone who's in need of a dental cleaning or whatever dental problems they might have.

Dr Alex has been my dentist at Bandera dental for over 8 years. I love that its family owned practice. As they provide a level of integrity you wont find in bigger dental offices. You are definetly treated like a member of the family with every visit. Their treatment cost are also very affordable. The Dr will personally call with a follow up after treatment or take your emergency call after hours. Christina is amazing, she has worked there for many years and wont forget who you are. I cant recommend this dental office enough. Guarantee you will be happy coming here.

My experience been nothing but positive! Dr Alex and Staff are excellent! Always makes you feel welcomed and caring about your visit. He has a very pleasant demeanor and professional. I never feel hurried up in the visit. I feel it’s very personalized. I will continue to use him for as long as he is in business! I recommend highly!
