About Bayshore Dental

Bayshore Dental is located on Ximeno Avenue near the Traffic Circle area of Long Beach, a central, well-traveled junction on the city's eastside. That position makes the office easy to reach for residents across this part of Long Beach, fitting naturally into the routes people already travel for work, errands, and home, and making it simple to keep regular appointments on the calendar. The practice centers on general dentistry, the everyday care that keeps oral health on solid footing. That means it's oriented toward the essentials, routine checkups, preventive maintenance, and the ordinary treatment that addresses problems before they grow into something larger. For patients who want a dependable dental home for their regular needs, that general focus provides exactly the right foundation, without the complexity of navigating a long roster of specialties. A neighborhood general practice tends to build its value through familiarity and steady relationships. When patients return to the same office over time, their dental history is known, their concerns are remembered, and their care feels personal rather than transactional. That continuity is precisely what many people are looking for when they choose a dentist close to home, someone they can rely on for the long haul rather than a place they visit only in emergencies. The Ximeno Avenue location near the Traffic Circle is a genuine convenience, sitting at a junction that connects much of eastern Long Beach. For residents who want straightforward, reliable general dentistry within easy reach, Bayshore Dental offers a grounded, neighborhood-minded option. The strength of an office like this lies in its dependability rather than its breadth. Patients aren't asked to sort through a long catalogue of specialties; they get a straightforward place to come for the care they need most often, and the familiarity that builds over repeated visits makes each appointment a little easier. Combined with a location that's central to the eastside, that reliability is what turns a dentist into a genuine part of someone's routine. It suits individuals and families looking for a steady place to handle the fundamentals of their oral health, a dependable local office that keeps checkups and preventive care on schedule and stays easy to get to as part of everyday life in the city.

Bayshore recently installed a crown that fell off within a week. Same thing happened with the temporary crown. I swallowed the crown without knowing it and now they want to charge me $150 to have another crown made. This is unacceptable. If they don't replace and fix this problem I will be changing dentists.

It’s always a pleasure when I go in for my dental appointments at Bayshore Dental Office. I was kind of nervous when Dr Rench retired because I’ve had horrible dental experiences in my past so when I first went to see Dr Rench at Bayshore a few years ago I was so happy with the service I received from him and his staff. And the service is still great for me since he retired. Dr Aguilar is just as great and so is the new staff. So if you’re looking for a dental office, I would highly recommend Bayshore and hope you have the same experience as I did. Thank you Dr Aguilar and staff for your service. See you on my next visit. 😊

Bayshore dental is hands down the best dental office I’ve ever had. They are kind, attentive and extremely friendly, from the front office staff through to the dentists. They listen to me and take care of any needs I have, plus they have a clean and modern office. With my insurance, I often have $0 copays.

I had an appointment to get something done to one tooth for cosmetic reasons. The dentist told me it wasn’t needed and my teeth actually looks good just how they were. That was actually enough to reassure me and help me let go of that perceived flaw. I really appreciate him doing that rather than just doing a procedure for the extra money. The office is also very beautiful and well decorated. All other staff I encountered were very friendly.

Terrible dentist I will NEVER go back to. Went initially for a cleaning and later to do a root canal and fill some cavities. Cleaning was fine, but the root canal was done extremely poorly. It's been a month and my teeth have only become more sensitive. I came in 2 weeks after the procedure to check if anything was wrong and was told that it was nothing out of the ordinary, even with x-rays done. I have had cavities filled before and never experienced the kind of lingering pain I've had since coming here. I believe that doing a cavity filling and root canal very close together did more harm then good to my gums. This office will constantly text you offering deals if you get your procedure done sooner than scheduled, very strange behavior and unprofessional in my opinion. This office is extremely pushy with upselling on irrigation, laser treatments, etc., very clearly about their money more than providing good service. Dentist was also inconsiderate during most interactions with a dismissive, almost annoyed attitude. Lack of follow up from assistants as well when I asked about best practices following my procedures. Assistants also struggled while using a portable x ray machine, taking much more time than necessary and leaving me uncomfortable for a long period of time. Overall sloppy work has left me deeply in pain for a month now and I don't trust them to rectify their mistakes. Your money is best spent elsewhere, do NOT recommend.

Ive had multiple great experiences at Bayshore. They are really great at explaining the everything which is really helpful to keep my mind at ease during the procedures. I love how clean and inviting the office is too.

This was my first time at Bayshore Dental, and I was referred there by my primary dentist for wisdom teeth removal. I went in expecting a straightforward procedure that had already been evaluated through multiple X-rays beforehand. At no point during any of those prior appointments was I told that I would need additional services outside of what my insurance covered. What happened instead was honestly shocking. It wasn’t until I was already in the chair, hooked up to all the equipment, and literally seconds away from being put under anesthesia that one of their assistants approached me with consent forms for “additional services” totaling $1,600. This was the first time I had ever heard about these “needed” services. They told me my insurance didn’t cover these services and that the surgeon would not perform the procedure unless I agreed to pay. Being put in that position, vulnerable, prepped for surgery, and then pressured to sign forms for thousands of dollars that were never previously disclosed, it felt completely inappropriate. When I refused and pushed back, the price suddenly dropped from $1,600 to $550 after someone went back to speak with them. That alone raised serious red flags. If these charges were legitimate and necessary, why were they never mentioned during the multiple X-rays and consultations leading up to surgery? Why wait until I was strapped into the chair and about to go under anesthesia? I ended up leaving and sitting in my car while my primary dentist tried to sort it out. I no longer felt comfortable proceeding there after how the situation was handled. Now I have to delay getting my wisdom teeth removed for another month or two which is extremely inconvenient considering that me and my partner both took time off of work to make time for the surgery that was supposed to happen. This experience felt like a last-minute pressure tactic to get additional money out of a patient who was already in a vulnerable position. Transparency and informed consent should happen before the day of surgery! Certainly not when someone is seconds away from being sedated. I would strongly advise anyone considering this office to get every single charge in writing well in advance and question anything that hasn’t been clearly disclosed upfront. Extremely disappointed.

I recently visited Bayshore Dentistry and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The staff was warm, welcoming, and consistently courteous, creating a comfortable atmosphere the moment I arrived. The facility is impressively clean, modern, and well equipped, which gave me great confidence in the care I was receiving. The technicians and doctors were professional, attentive, and thorough throughout my visit, taking the time to explain everything clearly. I highly recommend Bayshore Dentistry for anyone looking for top-quality dental care and a genuinely pleasant experience.
