Oral-surgeon-led implants in east San Jose
Smyleee Rating
Excellent
Beech & Reid Oral & Dental Implant Surgery is ranked in the top 3 on 1 Smyleee Top 10 list.
Beech & Reid Oral & Dental Implant Surgery is an east San Jose oral-surgery practice on The Villages Parkway, in the Evergreen / Estates area east of Highway 101. Oral surgeons specialize in the surgical end of dental work — extractions, implant placement, bone grafting, and the structural procedures that general dentists routinely refer out. For patients whose implant case involves any complexity — multiple extractions before placement, significant bone loss, or prior implant failures that need to be revised — going directly to an oral surgeon for the surgical phase eliminates a referral handoff that can stretch the timeline.
You can have a single missing tooth replaced with an implant here, or move to a full-arch restoration when multiple teeth are failing simultaneously. Bone grafting and oral surgery are the core of what this practice does — not a bolted-on service alongside general dentistry. Full mouth rehabilitation is on the menu for cases that involve coordinated extraction, implant placement, and prosthetic restoration as one integrated plan, often the most efficient approach when the existing dentition is largely failing.
If your implant case starts with extractions, involves significant bone reconstruction, or requires revision of failed prior implants, going directly to an oral-surgery practice rather than through a general dentist who refers out is often the cleaner path.
On cost, oral-surgery practices typically price at the higher end of the implant market for the surgical phase because the specialty training is foundational, not optional. A consultation here is where you get a real quote and an honest read on what your case actually requires. Patients researching dental implant financing for seniors in San Jose, single tooth implant cost in San Jose, CA, or affordable full mouth restoration in San Jose with payment plans typically arrive with budget questions and leave with a structured breakdown of the surgical and restorative phases.
An oral-surgery practice on The Villages Parkway in east San Jose led by Drs. Beech and Reid, covering implant placement, bone grafting, full mouth rehabilitation, and complex extractions — useful for Evergreen and east San Jose patients.

Dr. Beech and his team were excellent. They provided clear and simple instructions that made it easy for me to prepare for my surgery. They were professional and courteous during every interaction. This was my first oral surgery but I wasn’t nervous at all because I knew I would get terrific care.
My experience with Dr. Beech has been excellent. He is incredibly patient and calming, which makes a huge difference. He takes the time to really listen and explains the entire process clearly, so you always know what to expect. When he talks to you, it never feels judgmental just supportive and focused on getting you the best possible results. I feel comfortable, respected, and confident in his care. Highly recommend.
Dr. Reid is gentle, kind, and immediately puts you at ease. The pre- and post-procedure communication, including helpful videos, clearly explains what to expect and how to care for yourself afterward. I truly appreciated the follow-up phone call from the office after the procedure—it made me feel well cared for. I highly recommend Dr Reid and his friendly staff.
First i want to say,My experience went beyond my expectations 🦷🤍 . Dr. Reid took care of me when I've had a bad experience with my last surgeon for a wisdom pull and the anesthesia that was used on me i had allergic reaction and horrible side effects for days. I told this to dr. Reid while shaking and trying to trust him that he'll take care of me and i don't wake up feeling horrible inside my body. He was so sweet and any questions i had he confidently answered and made sure to tell me im in good hands. He wasn't annoyed or rude like i was used too. But i always used Medi-cal clinics so not the best. After the surgery with mr . Reid i woke up feeling smooth and on a cloud and walked like a baby deer with my friend back to the vehicle lol. No pain . No horrible high from the sedation and when i got home to wake up hours later i Barley had any pain , normal to walk and had a appetite. They even called me to check on me 🥹. Now thats an amazing experience thank you so much Dr. Reid your the best i felt so safe with you. I'll definitely be coming back for implants.
Awful back office that can't bill correctly and wastes loads of time. I had a tooth extraction that went fine. I asked the office to pre-run insurance prior to the appointment, which they did, and they told me how much would be covered and what I would owe. I paid this amount in full at the time of the visit. A month later I get a bill for almost double what they quoted me after having used my actual information with my insurance co. Turns out they take no responsibility for their mistakes in billing. I spoke to someone who told me to contact my insurance and they would wait for the result of that. Also false. They went to claims while I was waiting for insurance to get back. A good dental office would (1) know how to get an accurate insurance quote (2) only share amounts due when they were accurate (3) take responsibility for their mistakes (4) do what they say they would do. The doctor I had was fine, but the lack of capability on back office and billing leads to inflated bills, inaccurate information, and lots of time wasted. Stay away! (Sharing across two offices as I dealt with both with their mistakes, so pre-warning).
