About Bellflower Oral Facial Surgery & Dental Implant Center

Based on Bellflower Boulevard in Bellflower, California, Bellflower Oral Facial Surgery & Dental Implant Center is a dental practice serving the area. Wisdom teeth are removed when they are impacted, repeatedly infected, decayed, or damaging the tooth in front, since they arrive last and often into a jaw with no room left. Not every wisdom tooth needs to come out — one that erupts cleanly and can be kept clean is often left alone.

Beyond any single treatment, most dental visits start with an examination — checking for decay, reviewing the gums, and looking at existing fillings or crowns — often alongside X-rays where there is a reason to look between or beneath teeth. That groundwork is what a dentist uses to explain any findings and set out next steps before you leave.

Routine attendance, roughly every six months for most people, is what actually keeps small problems small. A lot of decay and gum disease develops without any pain in its early stages, which is why regular checkups matter even when nothing seems to be wrong, rather than only booking an appointment once something hurts.

A first appointment at a new practice typically covers a full examination, a review of your dental and medical history, and a professional cleaning, with X-rays if you do not have recent ones. It is also a reasonable time to raise any longer-term concerns, cosmetic or otherwise, so they can be factored into a plan going forward.

Day-to-day oral health still comes down to the basics between visits — brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between the teeth, and limiting how often sugary food and drink appear through the day matters more than the total amount eaten at once. Regular professional care is what catches whatever those habits do not. This page has the practice's contact details and full service list. Get in touch through it to ask questions or book a visit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is Bellflower Oral Facial Surgery & Dental Implant Center located in Bellflower?

What days is Bellflower Oral Facial Surgery & Dental Implant Center open?
Bellflower Oral Facial Surgery & Dental Implant Center is open Monday through Friday. Contact the practice through this page to confirm current appointment times before travelling.
What services does Bellflower Oral Facial Surgery & Dental Implant Center offer?
Listed services at Bellflower Oral Facial Surgery & Dental Implant Center include Wisdom Teeth Removal. The full list is shown on this page.
What age is best to have wisdom teeth taken out?
Late teens to early twenties is often easier, because the roots are less fully formed and bone is more forgiving, so healing tends to be quicker. Removal is still routinely done later when there is a reason for it.
Why do wisdom teeth cause problems?
They arrive last, often into a jaw with no room left, so they become impacted or come through at an angle. Partly erupted wisdom teeth are also very difficult to clean, which is why they are prone to repeated infection and decay.
How often should I have a dental check-up?
Every six months suits most people. If you have gum disease or a history of decay a dentist may suggest coming more often. The point of regular visits is mostly to catch problems while they are still small and cheap to treat.

I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Pedram and the entire experience was very smooth and painless. The staff and Dr. are kind and caring and explained the process from start to finish. It was easy to schedule and appointment and reach the clinic. I have recommended this clinic to my friends and family who need their wisdom teeth removed.

Wow! Dr. Adamous and his crew are absolutely in tune with their patients. This past Wednesday, I had two extractions of my molar on both sides. After administering novocaine, Dr. Adamous noticed my being uncomfortable and stopped right away and asked was I ok. I simply said go ahead. He said, I don’t like my patients being uncomfortable. I was certainly touched by his being sensitive to my needs. He even called me that evening and asked if I was okay. I’m so thankful for the referral. I truly recommend this Dr. along with his friendly staff.

Dr.Adamous is an excellent oral surgeon who is not only knowledgeable but also empathetic and patient with children. My son is 8 years old and needed surgery, he was extremely swollen when we arrived to see him. Dr. Adamous was thorough in his assestment and performed surgery once swelling decreased. He called me in the interim to see how my son was feeling and doing, which I was so grateful for. He had great bedside manners. On the day of the surgery as a mom of course I was nervous. Dr. Adamous was patient and understanding, he walked me to the area where the surgery was going to take place. I was also introduced to the anesthesiologist, which she was super great as well. She walked me through entire procedure. They made me feel more comfortable, the surgery was successful, Dr. Adamous extracted two molars from my son. I recommend him and his staff. Believe me I don’t provide recommendations lightly specially when it comes to to my son and his health. So grateful for his services!

I had a great experience here. I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed and experienced little to no swelling afterward. The doctor personally called me the next day to check in and see how I was feeling, which made me feel very cared for throughout the whole process. I was extremely nervous about being sedated, but the staff and doctor did an amazing job helping ease my worries and making me feel comfortable. Everything went smoothly and recovery has been much better than I expected. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing wisdom teeth removal or oral surgery.

Dr Pedram and his staff are very professional and polite. He made me feel like family. I can tell they care about their patients. He was able to explain the procedure and plan I need for a cyst they found in my jaw. He answered all my questions and concerns with empathy. This place has a home setting when you walk into lobby and the rooms are comfy too. I recommend coming here.

I was referred to Dr. Hooman Adamous to do oral surgery for two stubborn wisdom teeth that were sideways. I was nervous because, the procedure was complex due to having an small opening. Dr. Adamous was very professional and experienced, he pulled them out in one hour. He explained the whole process from the beginning to the end during the first consultation. I would like to also thank Dr. Sautito the anesthesiologist who provided the anesthesia during the procedure. I would highly recommend Dr. Hooman Adamous and the entire team at Bellflower Oral Facial Surgery to anyone in need of an oral surgery. Exceptional service!!
