Much better than my previous dental provider. Hygienists do a great job, and I've been satisfied with the results when getting fillings. They've been particularly helpful with something I've never run into before: lots of helpful suggestions beyond "brush and floss" for improving my dental health. Most of them did not involve giving them money, and some were entirely free (like simply not rinsing off toothpaste after brushing). The staff is nice and I feel like they care about their patients.
Great service from the front desk all the way to the dental. Uplifting and Friendly energy, musical vibes & great smiles. All you could ask for.
Audrey was GREAT! Boo to her for liking peas ew but she’s awesome and took her time cleaning my teeth! Dr Helene was great also I’m glad she also doesn’t like peas yay team no peas! Always glad to come back.
Audrey was the best! Explained everything and made me feel comfortable every step of the way! Dr. Shapiro was also great!
Firstly, I suspected a cavity between my molars, they decided to refer me to an orthodontist who could only offer me appointments way into the future. So, my problem was not treated. I traveled out of the country for over 5 months. Later on I tried to get checked up again. They told me I owed $49 copay from my prior appointment and therefore needed to clear that before they could schedule my appointment. I told them I was ready to clear the outstanding balance. However, they told me it was passed on to a debt collector and therefore needed to settle with the debt collector before scheduling my appointment. I asked for the debt collector's contacts and went ahead to reach out to them. The debt collector, called Rapid Recovery told me to pay $100 instead of the original $49. I asked why but they had no logical response. Eventually, they settled for the original amount which I paid over the phone. However, they did not send me the receipt as promised. Recently, I tried to schedule an appointment but they refused to take me in alleging that I owed them $49. I told them I had paid that amount through their debt collector a couple months prior. They told me to go back to rectify the problem with the debt collector. I asked them why they had me do their accounting work but they rudely told me off as having being at fault for owing in the first place. Before calling the debt collector (Rapid Recovery), I went back to my bank statements to make sure I had backup for the payment. In the process I discovered that they had started charging me $20 per month after the actual payment. As I write this message, this dentist's office has refused to schedule me in saying I still owe them. I have forwarded an email from their debt collector acknowledging receipt of my payment but still haven't gotten any acknowledgement from their office. I have felt mistreated because this dentist office does not respect its patients because they are obviously making too much money both from the insurance companies and fraudulent charges through their debt collector. I will seek help elsewhere even if this office is 2 minutes from my home. I am also going to report them to the FTC and CFPB for the fraudulent charges.
