Best Dental NY (Harlem/Morningside)

The staff at Morningside Dental are professional and efficient. They provide a thorough dental examination. I 100% recommend them.

Such a great treatment today. I did require pain ointment which was sufficient to dull the pain with today’s scraping and cleaning. I was pleased at how quickly and painless my periodontal cleaning went today. Thank you.

My visit at Morningside Dental was great. I did not have to wait to long, they kept the place clean and the customer service was awesome.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I've been a client at Morningside for several months now and the experience has been so terrible. I'll list everything that went wrong with both me and my wife here: 1. On the first visit, they maxed out my insurance and sneakily put "zirconia upgrade" for crown that wasn't even covered by insurance. This upgrade was completely unnecessary as determined by 2 other dentists I went to. I asked to take it off but they kept trying to sell me on it before doing so. 2. They suggested two fillings that were not needed, checked with others dentists. 3. Dr. Williams is the only one who can do crowns and other procedures at this practice. She is VERY hard to get ahold of and was gone the entire month of February. My crown appointment got pushed by at least a month if not more due to this. 4. Dr. Williams is good at talking but actually pretty bad at the procedures themselves and highly unprofessional. In the middle of my crown lengthening surgery she would just start chitchatting with her assistant and leave me on the chair for 15-20 mins repeatedly. I've never seen this at any other practice in NYC. 5. I had to finally change dentists and I chose to go to Dr. Azran at BH Dental. Absolute opposite experience. Very knowledgeable, no unnecessary procedures and most importantly, no upselling with full availability. She really saved 2 of my teeth that would've been lost if I had stayed at Morningside. Please avoid this practice at all costs, you will constantly be upsold on unnecessary things. My wife also went through similar stuff where a practitioner that comes to Morningside recommended unnecessary orthodontic procedures which were deemed unnecessary by an external consult with oral surgeon. They told her last summer too that she had a cavity. When my wife showed up a few months later, they couldn't find the cavity itself 🤣

I wasn't expecting to go to back to school for dentistry at my age, I came for a cleaning and maybe some encouragement with a appointment for next 6 month. After x-rays and examinations they may be feel like I was about to die.. haha but it was good information and very informative. I was just looking for some encouragement for the next 6 months to the next appointment , and a clean. I didn't receive the cleaning at all , but I'm very much ready to go to school for dentistry.. I spent $17 for a bottle of mouthwash. Plus a $10,000 treatment plan. Thank you for the lesson

For someone who has dental phobia, trust me, this is THE BEST Dental office ever! Everyone in this practice is kind, professional and make you feel safe and special. Shout Out to the Team as you definitely provide serenity and peace of mind to anyone who enter your office. Thank you!

The quality of the actual dental service and the support staff is the best I’ve experienced in the 25+ years I’ve lived in NYC. Today I had my teeth cleaned. It was very thorough. The dental facility has state of the art equipment. I feel like my teeth are in good hands.

Probably the best dentist I’ve ever been to! They were so wonderfully warm and welcoming. Went to such great care when it came to my teeth. I had X-rays a consultation and a teeth clean. Huge shout out to Manning who was just so amazing whenever I called and Malika my dental hygiene. Going to the dentist never felt so fun!

This was the worst experience I have had in a long time of going to dentists. Dentist Williams was supposed to fill a little chip on my front tooth and could not get it straight and it broke within days. After having to go back for her to correct it, she refused to properly fill it, but instead only filed it down further making my 2 front teeth uneven and the tooth weaker. No surprise, it chipped further only 3 days later. She's always going on vacation so I had to wait amother month to see her again. Finally when I got in, she spent 2 minutes filing it down again. Not only do the teeth not match, but she didnt even filed it evenly. Its on a slant. All that and she had the nerve to keep trying to push me to do different work that is more invasive and expensive. She couldn't even get this simple procedure right. Worst of all she doesnt take any accountability for doing anything wrong. She likes to gaslight people. She always talks about how she's been doing this for 35 yrs" so thats supposed to make her an expert. But obviously it didnt. I will absolutely not be going back to her. Ever and if you care about your teeth, you shouldn't either.

I’ve been a patient at Morningside Dental for close to if not more than 20 years, and it has consistently been an amazing practice. Dr. Williams is wonderful, and today I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Patel—who is absolutely excellent. Both doctors have impeccable bedside manners and truly make you feel at ease. The entire staff is friendly and very hospitable. Manny is especially warm and welcoming and always makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. Kunsang was fantastic handling the billing — clear, helpful, and reassuring. My dental hygienist, Liz, was excellent as well: gentle, thorough, and professional. Most people don’t enjoy going to the dentist, but I absolutely love this practice. I highly recommend Morningside Dental. Ten stars if I could!
