About Biohax Dental Miami - Holistic & Cosmetic Dentistry

Biohax Dental Miami - Holistic & Cosmetic Dentistry operates on Northeast 2nd Avenue in Miami, Florida. Holistic, or biological, dentistry applies standard dental diagnosis and treatment within an approach that emphasises material choice and conservative treatment, considering oral health as connected to the body more broadly rather than treating the mouth in isolation.

Routine attendance, roughly every six months for most people, is what actually keeps small problems small. A lot of decay and gum disease develops without any pain in its early stages, which is why regular checkups matter even when nothing seems to be wrong, rather than only booking an appointment once something hurts.

A first appointment at a new practice typically covers a full examination, a review of your dental and medical history, and a professional cleaning, with X-rays if you do not have recent ones. It is also a reasonable time to raise any longer-term concerns, cosmetic or otherwise, so they can be factored into a plan going forward.

Day-to-day oral health still comes down to the basics between visits — brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between the teeth, and limiting how often sugary food and drink appear through the day matters more than the total amount eaten at once. Regular professional care is what catches whatever those habits do not.

Digital X-rays are a routine part of dental care because they show what a visual exam alone cannot — decay forming between teeth, bone loss below the gumline, and how developing adult teeth are positioned in children. They use a low radiation dose and are taken on a schedule matched to individual risk rather than at every single visit.

Left untreated, small dental problems tend not to stay small. A minor cavity that would have been a straightforward filling can progress to needing root canal treatment and a crown, and early gum inflammation that would have reversed with a good cleaning can progress toward bone loss around the teeth. Catching things early is generally the difference in both effort and cost. Are holistic dentists still trained in regular dentistry?
Yes. A holistic practice is a licensed dental practice that has chosen a particular philosophy around materials and conservative treatment — it is not a separate qualification, and standard diagnosis and treatment still apply.
Do holistic dentists use fillings without mercury?
Practices describing themselves this way typically favour tooth-coloured composite and ceramic materials over amalgam. If material choice is your reason for choosing a practice, it is worth confirming directly what they use.
What happens during a routine dental examination?
The dentist checks the teeth for decay, examines the gums, looks at any existing fillings and crowns, and screens the soft tissues. X-rays are taken when there is a reason to look between or beneath teeth.

The Byohack Dental has a chick office and pretty peculiar mindset of treating patients. I was seen for a tooth repair/limited evaluation. The evaluation charge was hier then customary. In addition The office charged me their prosessing fee, that was not disclosed before. Service was peculiar too. I wanted to have my tooth repaired. Instead I was offered an implant surgery. Moreover, I was told the office would not treat me unless they d have full mouth evaluation and redo other teeth repairs they d consider. Quite a Moneyhacking !!!

This place has completely raised my standards for a dentists office! I have never felt so welcome and cared for anywhere else!! Thank you so much to the team here, I came in with a really bad silent tooth infection due to malpractice at a Dentist in DC, and they were able to identify it and extract in the same week! 🙏 thanks so much for saving my life :)

Being excited to go to the dentist is not something I ever would have expected in my life. The whole team at Biohax made me feel BEYOND welcome, comfortable and educated with this unexpected visit. I have had very little to no work done to my teeth through out my life, and while visiting Miami I had a premolar break in half due to an unknown infection. This led me to Biohax and I am SO thrilled to have had the support, kindness and reassurance their team gave me while operating to remove this tooth, and then all of the amazing follow up checkins. They called after each visit to see how I was doing, and always with a tone of genuine care. This was the absolute BEST experience one could hope for going to the dentist. I cannot thank Biohax enough for their stellar job!!

I went to previous dentists and they all told me the same thing. They couldn’t fix my teeth. And doctor Daylis gave me hope and fixed my smile. She did a frenectomy and I couldn’t feel more comfortable. She gave me ozone water to rinse that helped my recovery so much better. I trust her for all my dental needs. My frenectomy healed so fast and I had no pain. My teeth are the best they have ever been. The staff is great, very welcoming and supportive. I fully recommend !

Dr. Daylis is exceptionally professional and takes the time to explain every procedure thoroughly, ensuring that you understand your treatment plan. Her expertise and gentle approach made even the more involved dental work a breeze. The entire staff at Biodent is friendly and accommodating, always greeting you with a smile and ready to assist with any concerns or questions. One of the highlights of my visits has been the high level of personalized care. Dr. de Andrade truly listens to her patients and tailors her treatments to meet their specific needs. Whether it's a routine cleaning or a more complex procedure, you can trust that you're in excellent hands.
