About Bliss Dental and Orthodontics - Midland

Bliss Dental and Orthodontics occupies Suite A-1 inside Midkiff Plaza on North Midkiff Road, providing general, cosmetic, and family dental care to patients throughout Midland. The practice treats a wide age range under one roof, so a child's cleaning, a parent's crown, and a grandparent's bridge repair can all go through the same front desk instead of separate specialists. That fits households where dental needs vary by generation but a single office is easier to keep track of. Emergency dentistry is also offered, for a toothache or broken filling that can't wait for a routine slot.

The service list covers most of what a general dentist's office handles: routine dental cleanings, fillings for tooth decay, and crowns or bridges when a tooth needs more support than a filling alone can provide (a bridge anchors a replacement tooth to the healthy teeth on either side of a gap). Root canal treatment clears infection inside a tooth's nerve, and gum disease treatment addresses the tissue and bone that hold teeth in place. Teeth whitening sits alongside broader cosmetic dentistry work, and extractions are reserved for teeth that can't be saved. Because a filling left untreated often turns into a root canal, catching decay early tends to cost less than waiting.

If you've been putting off a toothache because you didn't want to be routed through a specialist for every step, this is a practice built to keep exams, fillings, crowns, and whitening under one roof instead.

Cost for any of this depends on specifics — a simple filling and a root canal aren't priced the same, and a whitening session is a different conversation than a bridge replacing a missing tooth — so pricing gets worked out case by case rather than posted as one flat rate. That approach fits Midland patients who want to address a specific problem (a cracked filling, a gum concern, a tooth that needs pulling) without first sorting out which kind of dentist handles it. Bliss Dental and Orthodontics reads less like a walk-in chain and more like a single stop for whatever a mouth needs that week.

Bliss Dental and Orthodontics in Midland, Texas offers general, cosmetic, and family dental care — cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, gum treatment, whitening, and extractions — for patients who want most dental needs handled at one office.

How long does a dental bridge last?
Many last around a decade or more, and the main threat is decay or gum disease affecting the supporting teeth rather than the bridge itself failing. Cleaning underneath it properly is what makes the difference.
Why do my gums bleed even though I brush twice a day?
Bleeding usually reflects where you are cleaning rather than how often. Plaque left along the gumline and between teeth causes inflammation there, which is exactly the area brushing alone tends to miss, so flossing or interdental brushes matter.
What are the early signs of gum disease?
Gums that bleed when brushing or flossing, redness and puffiness along the gumline, and persistent bad breath are the usual first indicators. Bleeding is the one most often dismissed, and it is the clearest early warning.

Wouldn't provide me care without financing. Said she could give me prescriptions. Once I obtained money for financing I was declined anyways. Once I was declined, they offered me sub optimal service without financing telling me to "look it up". I walked out after they wasted my time. The finance lady- "Well I'm sorry you feel that way". Lol how would you "feel" about being declined and then offered subpar service. It's not about my feelings, it's about my health. The best part? I could've paid in full in 2 days without financing. Absolute joke.

It was a good experience overall but there something that I didn’t understand about the first nurse that did my standing x-ray. I don’t know if that’s her way of talking or she was being rude, when she gives instructions all she says is “sit, open, stand, follow me” I just think it’s like she is talking to a dog. But overall the doctor and the other 2 nurses were really nice and made me feel good 👌.

Great service. Very attentive and excellent work. I had 2 molars removed and a root canal on a premolar all done in a few hours and that’s with me calling in the appointment a day prior. Doctor Michael was very professional and very good at his job. Very minimal to no pain during procedure.

I have been going here for almost a year. The staff is always kind I have never waited any lengthy time to get back in a room and Dr Galloway is amazing! He is so kind attentive and thorough and the hygienist I believe his name is Bert is so good. He is very sweet. He is very knowledgeable and he never hurts me and I have to go for cleanings every three months so I definitely recommend this Dental Office to everyone!!'

Friendly and respectful dentist office. Everyone is very nice. I visited the Midland location. Unfortunately, I don’t visit the dentist as often as I should, but Dr. Mike was willing to postpone his lunch to take care of business. 😎 I really do appreciate his kindness as it saved me from having to take off another day of work. For the Spanish speaking community, some staff is willing and able to communicate in English and Spanish. Se habla Español 😁
