My cleaning was cancelled and required my follow up to reschedule 3 times and 2 months out. I was placed on a wait list and contacted same day to schedule from the waitlist. Cleaning was acceptable. No complaints. After the cleaning, I waited 20 minutes for a dentist to view/check up and eventually left without seeing a dentist at all due to the wait. Overall very unhappy and lacking confidence with the dentists on site. They have recommended 11 fillings for my daughter, who how had regular dental cleanings and appointments until coming to Bright Now! If you aren’t forced to go, DON’T
If I could give zero stars, I would. The communication at this office is extremely poor, and the front desk staff are rude and unhelpful. Getting someone to answer the phone is nearly impossible. If you miss an appointment due to an emergency or any unexpected situation, don’t expect to be rescheduled anytime soon—it can take months to get another appointment. The scheduling is also very frustrating. Appointments rarely start on time, and the dentist works on multiple patients simultaneously, making the experience feel rushed and disorganized. Overall, this has been the worst experience I’ve had with any dental clinic. I would not recommend this office to anyone looking for reliable, professional, and respectful dental care.
I hadn't been to the dentist in 3 months and it is always a pleasure to come in and see friendly faces. You guys are the best. And Julie at the front desk is always amazing.
The hygienist was extremely helpful. Really good at what he does. Patient and kind.
Amazing staff and amazing office! I have never had a bad appointment. Thank you Bright Now Dental!
Front desk pleasant and quick to assist. Once the treatment started the communication was poor. After X-rays I was left in a treatment room and told I’ll be right with you. After 10 minutes the person came back and took me to a different room for treatment. After the cleaning I was told the dentist would be in to see me shortly. Then I had no more contact or communication for 20 minutes. The communication I then received was, “the doctor is still in a surgery you need to come back to get your emxray results “. I understand that things happen and schedules get behind. You need to be better at communicating that. I was at the office for an hour and a half for a simple cleaning and didn’t even see the dentist.
Should have read the reviews before committing to this location. My husband was quoted a little over $2000 for the services he needed. Due to personal reasons we couldn't get done what he needed at that time and came back a couple months later, and they quoted $4400 for the same services. Jasmine the receptionist was not helpful, or caring to our situation and Cindy, the lady working with the insurance numbers was rude and also unhelpful. We spoke up for ourselves and was able to get back to the original cost quoted, but we really had to advocate for ourselves. When I expressed that they needed to work on their customer service and their quoting, eyes were rolled and they didn't take us seriously. Wouldn't recommend this business. There are many others out there that have better attitudes towards their consumers, with proper quotes. Sadly, my husband just took the first recommendation from the insurance agent and didn't research the business before committing to their services.
EXTREMELY IMPORTANT MUST READ!!!!! I like Bright Now because they have lots of offices, so it is 'easier' to get an appointment. But the current instance made me anxious and question things. I went to the Hillsboro office last time on 8th May, and my visit cost 291$ out of which I had to pay 58.40$ out of pocket. It is all fine. Then I got a statement from my insurance and was about to discard/neglect it, but the 291$ number brought my attention. What I see is that my whole visit, the whole 291$ was covered by my dental insurance, so why did I have to pay the 58.40$? I called Insurance, and they suggested me to ask for a refund, I did not need to pay any amount. So, I called Bright Now two days in a row (today is the 3rd day) and did not receive a call back from the manager. I probably will get the refund, if not, I am fighting back, but now I am thinking, what about the other services over the years? The majority of us do not even pay attention to the insurance statements, so I do hope this is an honest mistake and not a scam, but this is making me question things, and I want to audit all my visits.
Hello, I visited this clinic for like 2 years, and I had mixed experiences. Hygienists are good, but the front desk staff is not so polite and communicative. On my last visit, I reached there for my regular cleaning and I was also supposed to see the doctor as per my plan, but the doctor was not there. So I refused to the get the cleaning done as well and get a new appointment. I did get the next day appointment and I thought it would be for both cleaning and doctor visit. But turned out it was just the doctor visit. When I asked the front desk, they said, you refused to get the cleaning done yesterday and we didn't have availability. They could have mentioned it at the time of scheduling the appointment. so in short I took a break from work on 2 straight days to get the cleaning done but still it didn't happen. I was furious and asked to close my account because I don't want to visit this place ever again. Then after some time, I received a bill for the refused service and also see a claim on my insurance. I am wondering why would they submit a claim and send me a bill when no service was provided. I tried to reach the clinic a number of times on call, left voice notes, sent email, and even visited the clinic to get this sorted out, but still no response. So to summarize, this clinic is good except the support staff. Terrible at providing the proper communication.
Go ANYWHERE else. This place isn’t even good for basic dental cleanings. Here are a few things that I’ve gone through: I decided to finally get a crown on my front tooth. It took MULTIPLE MONTHS to get one that fit. They work with a lab in California so it’ll take like 3 weeks to get the crown mailed in. Well it took THREE TRIES to get a crown that fit. The first two tries the crown was way too thick so I couldn’t close my mouth all the way. I had my bottom teeth sanded down to try to get it to fit. On the final try they decided to switch to a local Portland lab, and then finally the crown fit. Now keep in mind I was in that dental chair for an hour+ every time to get the crown fitted, get new molds, etc etc. It was literal torture. For the terrible experience with the crown I decided to get my money back. No problem, we went through the refund process. I was told to call back in a week to make sure it went through. When I called the office, it turns out the manager had forgotten to hit the “submit” button on the computer program. Just constant incompetence from this office. At the time I decided “okay, this place is not good for involved dental work. It should be fine for basic cleanings.” Well they can’t even do that right!! For my cleaning visit after all my crown appointments I never received the usual reminder text/emails. So I called the day before my appointment just to make sure I had the date right. I did have it right. The office said the hygienist I was scheduled with did not work there any more. And apparently they did not think to call and reschedule the clients?? Nothing but incompetence. Do not go here. Half the time the dentist isn’t there when you have a cleaning, so you need to make a follow-up appointment. It’s so annoying to take time to drive over there again just for the dentist to spend 3 minutes looking at your teeth. GO TO LITERALLY ANY OTHER DENTIST.
