Brock Street Dental Practice - Best Dental Clinic in Lancaster is a friendly, modern city centre practice (ground and first floor, with wheelchair access and facilities) offering a full range of NHS treatments. Our core opening hours are 8.30 am to 5.30 pm. We run an efficient and flexible computer appointment system and set aside emergency spaces each day, avoiding any need for a double booking. We are a very busy, mainly NHS dental practice located in the centre of Lancaster, a university city half way between Manchester and the Lake District. There are six modern surgeries, all with networked computers and high levels of equipment, including fibre optics and X-ray machines in each surgery and a digital X-ray system. Our networked computer system facilitates easy and clear patient records, treatment planning and fee estimates as well as the benefits of digital imaging and patient education. In July 2005 we had a major expansion and refurbishment, further improving our modern facilities, adding a fourth surgery and providing a larger and re-fitted surgery. A further expansion, providing a new fifth surgery was completed in July 2007. We have a dedicated modern decontamination room and system and are achieving best practice. A further expansion in 2016 added another downstairs surgery, improved store rooms, sterilisation equipment and staff facilities, and we appointed an additional dentist to our team. A patient who fails to attend their appointment or cancels at short notice, will be sent correspondence, warning them that they will lose their NHS entitlement here, if they fail to attend or cancel at short notice again within a 3-year period. In the event that a further appointment is missed or cancelled at short notice within this 3-year period, we will withdraw the offer of NHS treatment at this practice. Should they wish to remain a patient here, they will need to register here on a private basis, if available.
