Amazing staff

Very good dental service. Pain management is excellent, I haven't really had any and I have had several fillings. Philip is always encouraging, supportive and realistic re treatment options. I've been a registered there for several years and no longer feel any real anxiety about attending an appointment. Previously I did not register with a dentist for some years as I had a dental phobia. Update. Mr Brown ( Philip) consistently recommends essential treatment and has a most reassuring manner. Update 16/2/24 Another check up with no work required. It's motivating to know Mr Brown is monitoring. He encouraging me to keep up the care routine and it's paying off. Update March 2025 I broke a tooth recently and need to have the gap filled. All the options were thoroughly explained. Very good service. Update June 2026 Very good service. It is motivating to have the checkup and know that I am being well advised on any work that will be beneficial.I also like that it is possible to change the appointment online, which is convenient

This is a terrible, outdated clinic that is completely inaccessible for people with prams, and I honestly cannot imagine how wheelchair users are supposed to get inside. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by a dreadful interior that looks like it hasn’t been renovated in decades. It feels less like a private clinic and more like visiting someone’s grandmother’s house. I’ve been to several Bupa clinics before, and I genuinely don’t understand why the facilities in Chester are in such poor condition. There is no proper waiting area. The clinic accepts children, yet there isn’t even a small children’s corner or any facilities for families. To make matters worse, the clinic manager was rude and unhelpful. The operating room doors were left open, and my son simply ran inside while I was trying to speak with the staff. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about safety and professionalism. Overall, this place is tiny, run-down, and lacking even the most basic standards you would expect from a private healthcare provider. I would never recommend it to anyone. Frankly, most NHS facilities look far better than this so-called private clinic. Horrible

I had my first visit at Bupa Dental Care in Chester with Janet Potter and it was an excellent experience. She carried out X-rays and explained everything in great detail, clearly outlining my options and making sure I understood that the final decision was mine. I later returned for a filling instead of an extraction, and she did a fantastic job. The whole procedure was completed smoothly and comfortably, without any issues. She took her time, made me feel at ease throughout, and offered very kind and helpful advice. Her dental assistants were also very friendly, supportive, and professional, which made the whole experience even more comfortable. Janet is highly professional and caring, and I would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for dental treatment.

Having not been to the dentist for a few years, I decided to choose the Bupa Smile Plan at the Chester branch. I went for a new patient check up appointment that was with Dentist Chike Enunwa and his dental assistant. I was a little nervous and I have to say they were both approachable and friendly. Chike took the time to ask me why I wanted to have an appointment and listened when I explained any issues I had with my teeth. Then having had an exam, he explained to me clearly what he felt I needed to have done and then also outlined the additional cost. I had x rays and a composite filling, all completed efficiently in my half an hour appointment. I was really impressed and I would recommend them both as professionals. Thank you :)

My daughter and I both attend this surgery. The team are wonderful. Janet has been my dentist for many years and even when I moved I would still commute over an hour to see her....she really is that good! Phil is my daughter's dentist and he has made her feel very comfortable. She has been going since she was 2 and he makes each visit enjoyable for her.
