Cam Dental Practice

I had a lump on the roof of my mouth it wasn’t causing me any problems Olga had a look on my following visit she advised she was going to refer me to the hospital to get it checked she referred me twice as I heard nothing then she asked for an emergency referral I had lots of tests and scans and diagnosed with lymphoma I had treatment and now all clear if it hadn’t of been for her I would never have gone thank you so much

Unfortunately, my experience with this practice has been extremely disappointing. One of the biggest issues is communication. It is incredibly difficult to get through to reception by phone, making it almost impossible to cancel, rearrange or discuss appointments. As I live approximately 45 minutes away, simply popping into the practice is not a realistic option. Most recently, I travelled to an appointment and arrived 5 minutes late due to roadworks and being stuck behind a tractor. I was then informed that I had missed my appointment because I had exceeded a 5-minute lateness policy. This policy had never been communicated to me previously, nor had I ever been informed that patients were expected to arrive 10 minutes before their appointment time. What makes this particularly frustrating is the apparent double standard. I have attended appointments on time in the past and have regularly been left waiting between 40 minutes and over an hour to be seen. Patients are expected to adhere to strict timing rules, yet the same consideration does not appear to be extended in return. I have also found Olga to be rude, dismissive and poor at communicating during treatment. Procedures are often carried out without any explanation of what is being done, leaving patients unsure of what is happening. On more than one occasion, I have been left in significant pain following treatment and did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously. I appreciate that dental practices need policies and procedures to run efficiently. However, those policies should be communicated clearly and applied fairly, especially when patients have travelled a considerable distance to attend. Overall, the practice appears poorly managed, communication is extremely poor, and patients are not treated with the level of respect and consideration that should be expected from a healthcare provider.

Wouldn’t recommend. Reception staff are incredibly rude, discussing patients whilst being sat in the waiting room, as if we can’t hear.

I’m really pleased with the care and dental treatment I received from Dr Rosen Smukov. 🦷🙂 He was very reassuring, clearly explaining the treatments he was going to do, and the work itself was carried out quickly and gently. I’ve also previously been seen by the practice owner, Dr Olga Sivova, and was equally happy with the care I received from her. Going to the dentist isn’t usually something to look forward to, but when you’re treated with such respect and kindness, it makes the whole experience so much easier to cope with. I’d definitely recommend this practice.

I have been to Cam Dental practice a few times to be seen by Dr Ivanova. She is very gentle and considerate of my dentophobia, my first appointment was hard for me but the patience and care I was shown has somewhat changed the way I feel about going to the dentist. I had root canal work done over 3 appointments, saved a tooth and got me in with the nicest dentist I’ve ever been to. Everyone who works there is lovely. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Had an amazing experience at the dentist for myself and my son. Ross and Abdul were amazing, so patient and understanding and took time to explain what was happening. So kind and considerate, I felt in such safe hands.

Dr. Olga is hands down the best dentist I’ve ever had. She’s incredibly skilled and genuinely caring. She explains everything clearly, never rushes, and takes real pride in her work. I would be more than happy to recommend!
