I have been coming here for several years. The staff is always friendly and professional. Today’s visit was no different.

I can't say often enough how much I like Capital Dental . I have been treated well and with courtesy every time I've been, whether it id for my cleaning or Dental work. I also love their hours!

More disappointment send me to a lady that was her first time doing whitening for my teeth burning. My gums didn’t take pictures before and after pictures had to go back the service was just terrible terrible terrible terrible I think I Made the wrong decision by picking that dentist they cannot get nothing right nothing right very Disappointing

I've been coming to Capital Dental since 2021. At the time, it seemed like their pediatric department was just getting started. Since then, we've seen several pediatric dentists come and go, but this is the first time I've truly felt heard, reassured, and confident that my children are receiving exceptional dental care. Thank you, Dr. Afifi! We are so grateful to have found a pediatric dentist who is not only knowledgeable but also kind, patient, and genuinely cares about my children's well-being. We finally feel like we're in the best hands.

After recently moving, I tried two other dental offices for both myself and my kids, but I never felt completely comfortable. Then I found Capital Dental Group in Bakersfield, and I can honestly say the experience exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I walked in, every member of the staff was so kind, welcoming, and friendly. They made me feel like more than just another patient and immediately put me at ease. A special thank you to Jasmin, Liz, and Jess, they are incredibly sweet, compassionate, and truly passionate about what they do. Their kindness and genuine care made such a positive impression on me. The dentist was just as amazing. He was so kind, gentle, and treated me like I was family. He constantly checked on me throughout my appointment to make sure I was comfortable and not in pain, and he took the time to explain everything in a way that made me feel at ease. It’s rare to find a provider who combines professionalism with such genuine compassion, and it truly meant so much to me. The office itself is beautiful, spacious, and very well organized. It’s clear they’re equipped to care for many patients while still making every person feel seen and cared for. Finding a dental office you can trust isn’t always easy, especially after moving to a new area, but I’m so grateful I found Capital Dental Group. I finally feel like I’ve found a dental home for my family. I’ll definitely be bringing my kids back and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring, professional, and welcoming dental team. Thank you all for making what is usually a stressful experience feel so easy and comforting. You have gained a lifelong patient!

Dr. Sharafi was absolutely wonderful with my daughter! She was kind, patient, thorough, and made the entire visit a positive experience. We especially appreciated how efficiently she was able to narrow down the number of visits needed while still providing excellent care. We will definitely be back to see her and highly recommend her to other families!

It's not always easy going to the dentist, but the staff at Capital Dental Group made the experience a positive one. I had my first cleaning yesterday. Upon booking I asked the receptionist the amount of time needed for this appt. She told me one hour. I booked my appt for 1:30pm. After receiving 2 text messages stating my appt would begin at 1:30, arriving 5 minutes early I was taken back to begin my appt at 1:50. The employee who polished and flossed my teeth was excellent. I asked her before starting how long the appt would take and she told me 40 minutes. Ok, I can still be on time to my next task. She asked if I had any concerns about my teeth and I said not pain wise, but I didn’t like the build up on the front of my lower teeth. I’m simply concerned about the appearance. The hygienist then came in to clean my teeth. She spent time gossiping about employees who no longer work for Capital Dental detailing where they work, their lack of hours, talked about how much she hated the “tree picture” in her cubical, talked about how nitrous gas causes “spontaneous abortions”. This is highly inappropriate conversation in a public space and to top it off, the build up is still visible on my teeth. There needs to be a training held on professionalism.

I have been an established patient for 8+ years. I was disappointed to see Dr. Wilson leave and then grateful to see him return and then disheartened when he truly retired. I have seen a few other providers since then, however I am extremely pleased with the Orthodontist Dr.Floyd Cauthon. I experienced a tear in my inner lower lip d/t the angle of my brackets and wire and he asked what options were available w/the dental assistant, and ultimately was very decisive in choosing the right treatment rather then the quick fix. He is thorough and wanted to see me back w/in the week to ensure I healed. On that visit he also removed a band around my crown that was somewhat sensitive. I told him it’s not bad but he was so thoughtful and said the weekend is coming and I don’t want you to have to come back anticipating if he did nothing there’s the possibility of it being worse. He even removed the band himself. When I got there he was also working on the patient next to me. In all these years I have not had the privilege to see hands on ortho like him performing the “minor” tasks to keep the patient flow moving. All hands on deck when it comes to ortho, esp Neli! She’s stays on top of decorating their space. I have not experienced any negativity or concerns with any of the staff. On the contrary I have seen exemplary courtesy and efficiency in all areas!

Been here a couple of times with Dr. Safarian, love that he explains what/why we should take care of first. He’s as gentle as can be, you can barely feel the numbing needle! His assistant Gabby is my favorite. I got Monique once and she’s also amazing! Also had a root canal done by Dr. Sirjani and it was great no problems, he has a bit of a heavy hand but he’s quick and makes sure you are numb numb. It was a coincidence that his assistant is a Gabby too, I love that she explained everything. All the staff is nice and makes sure you’re ok thru the whole procedure. My favorite receptionists are I think her name is Ashley and Chris. Orthodontics hasn’t been the best with my 15 year old but they have a new Doctor so we’ll see how that goes…

I had my first appointment for X-rays as a new patient and all went great. The staff and the dentist were so kind. The dentist spent time with me to go over treatment plans. However, with some staffing changes trying to execute the treatments plans became impossible where I started to lean towards finding another dentist. However, on my last chance I was blessed with a wonderful woman named Clarissa. She was transparent in the cause of delays and had personally reached out on my behalf to get the ball rolling. She even followed up with communication to help ease my mind which is truly more than above and beyond. I am now scheduled and called back personally asking for her to help move dates around and help me with a couple questions I had thought of after getting off from scheduling my wisdom teeth removal. Andrew Collin’s was also truly professional, knowledgeable and very kind and I was grateful for his help. But I also cannot say enough about Clarissa. Her kindness, comfort, knowledge, understanding and a million other little things are truly why I am now excited to be a returning patient here. I was in no way, shape or form intending to leave because of any dentists or staff but rather the gaps that there were with staffing changes. I understand now that everyone was doing their best to fill those gaps. But Clarissa was a true gem for this whole practice in making me feel so seen and valued that I know this transition period is worth sticking it out through mostly because I know she is part of the staff!
