I had such an amazing experience at Capitol Hill Dentistry and Braces! From the moment I walked in, everyone was so kind, welcoming, and professional. The office is extremely clean, fresh, comfortable, and has such a great environment. The dentist was extremely knowledgeable, and my hygienist was absolutely amazing and so sweet! Everyone made me feel so comfortable from the moment I walked in. They took the time to explain everything to me, answer my questions, and really break down my treatment plan so I could fully understand everything and know exactly what to expect. I honestly felt so comfortable and cared for throughout my entire visit. You can tell that they truly care about their patients and want you to feel confident and informed about your dental care. I 100% recommend Capitol Hill Dentistry and Braces — 10/10, or honestly 100/10! 🦷🤍 Everything about my experience was amazing, and I’m so happy I chose this office!

Dr Rios is amazing and very professional and the staff very nice people

I wanted to support a Hispanic owned dentistry and the dentist but she was condescending towards me as a Hispanic myself who often gets mistaken for white. It just gave misogyny.. although that’s not something new to me, it sucks. Her team is amazing though! nice girls :)

I had a great experience at this dental office, and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. They explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable throughout my appointment.

This is not a place for children. My son had two extractions and a tooth filling done by Dr Rios. He had the nitrous gas, and one shot for numbing. Dr had explained the filling would be done first and then she would numb the back as well with a second shot to make sure it would numb all around so he wouldn’t feel the extractions. Everything was going well until she tried to do the filling my son moved his tongue and touched the tooth that had a hole in it, she was pretty upset and told him “ I will have to clean the section again because you keep interrupting” she was trying to talk calmly but the tone of her voice was upsetting. When she took her hands off his mouth and turned around to grab a different tool he moved his mouth guard with his tongue and took a deep breath, she later changed it for a bigger one to make it more secured. After that he didn’t move at all, she did the filling and all of a sudden she started extracting the crown and part of his tooth, he started crying without moving or touching the Dr. hands, I said “weren’t you going numb the back” she ignored me however, her assistant looked at me and said no with her head. He kept crying and I said it again, “ I thought you said you were going to numb the back” she said “he can’t feel it”.. I said he is crying, and she said “no there are no tears” and proceeded to take the second part of the tooth out and yes he cried again.. She later said “ I’m going to give you a referral for him to get sedated for the bottom filling because he was not cooperating at all” the tone of her voice was still very upsetting. She brought me a card of a dental place and tried to explain how they would probably not have appointments available, I said that’s okay I know where to take him and she said okay where? I said it’s called Aurora pediatrics, she said okay they will probably not sedate him they only do it with children 6 or younger, my son just turned 8. I said okay that’s fine they’ve worked on his teeth before and she said okay but her demeanor was still very upsetting and just explained the instructions for aftercare and walked away. At all times I was trying to stay calm because I know she was trying to do her job however she is not patient with children at all, I’ve seen children screaming at the dentist, trying to grab the Dr. hands and my son was very calmed. There was really no reason for her to be upset as you should expect delays with children, which the appt was at 9am and we were out by 10am so not a huge delay. The worst part was deciding to just extract the teeth without proper numbing. I will never return to this place, I just went here because I wanted to try a new place close to my home but never again. If you need dental work done for an adult it might work but please, do not take your little ones here.

They are friendly at the front desk. The assistants are also kind and helpful. Dr Rios is patient and understanding and always does everything she can to make you feel better and more confident in your smile.

Had the best experience at Capitol Hill Dentistry and Braces with Dr. Rios and her lovely team. I had a cavity that needed to be treated- The team and dental assistants were so thoughtful and caring. Dr. Rios’ numbing technique was truly magical- it was a pain free procedure from start to end. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for quality dental care.

I’ve been to quite a few dentists in my life; I was very impressed with Dr Rios and her team. They do quick but good and detailed work, communication is clear, the team seems to work great together, everything went very smoothly.

I am very happy that I chose this dentistry for my first time back at the dentist in a while. All the women at this office were friendly and attentive. From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out. Everyone I came across, explained every bit of information thoroughly and made sure I felt heard and well-informed.
