Carisbrooke Dental Practice

I was referred to Carisbrooke Dental last year for root canal treatment. After two long root canal appointments the usual treatment was not possible, so the team arranged minor surgery to deal with the roots. Dr. Tousif Nathani looked after me throughout and Dr. José Zurdo carried out the surgery. Everything was explained clearly and I felt well supported and looked after at every stage. My final appointment was nearly 3 hours long which I was dreading but it was fine, I couldn't have asked for better care from the team. The after care was also good where I was given detailed advice to ensure good recovery. At my annual review recently a CT scan showed recovery had gone v. well. Because of that experience, when I needed another root canal recently on the opposite side, I wanted to return to Carisbrooke for my treatment. This time the treatment was completed in a single visit with Tousif, and recovery is going well. Thank you to Tousif, Jose and the wider team for their professionalism and care. I’m very grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Carisbrooke Dental to anybody.

I am so pleased with the service I have received at this practice and highly recommend it! Around 10 months ago I was exasperated with severe gum disease that just wasn’t improving despite regular hygienist appointments. My 1st meeting with Christina was so positive and she assured me that treatment was possible and she carried out 2 deep clean sessions. Unlike, other dental visits there was no discomfort and they talk you through the process and make sure you’re comfortable at all times. Unfortunately, Christina left the practice but I needn’t have worried as I was put in the equally capable hands of Jose. The deep cleans did improve my gum health but they told me I needed to extract all 4 wisdom teeth as the pockets were still deep and were impacting the health of my other teeth. I also had surgery on 3 teeth. I was so nervous but again they talked me through it all and gave me an oral sedative which helped me to relax and it was again pain free. I returned to the practice yesterday for a review and received the news that my gum health is now good and the deep pockets have gone. I just need to see a hygienist regularly to maintain this- which I will do at Carrisbrooke. I’m ‘over the moon!’ and can’t thank the staff enough!! Thank you so much.

Arrived soaking wet and very early for my appointment. Reception staff very caring, able to dry my coat and they even made me a cup of tea whilst waiting. Excellent front of house staff. Oral hygienist Monica and nurse appt on time, great procedure experience and offered comprehensive advice. Professional care at the top of their game.

I can’t recommend Carisbrooke Dental Practice highly enough. Victoria is an absolutely wonderful dentist — gentle, reassuring and very professional, she always makes me feel completely at ease. Monica the hygienist is equally fantastic, so thorough yet kind and friendly. The whole team are welcoming and helpful from the moment you walk in. A genuinely lovely practice with excellent care. I joined Carisbrooke many years ago after an emergency referral to correct a root canal done badly elsewhere. The treatment I received was so excellent I stayed as a general dentist patient. I had to have another root canal yesterday and again the experience was exceptional. Great care taken to ensure I knew what was happening every step and that I was relaxed and comfortable at all times. I have received a call and email today to check how things are - wonderful care and I'm happy to report only the most minor discomfort (not even requiring a paracetamol!). Huge thanks to Dr. Tousif Nathani and the whole Carisbrooke team who, from the moment you step through the door, are exceptional in their warmth and care.
