The practice run by Dr Martin L. Law (Dentist) BDS treats adults on a private basis but children are always seen as NHS patients. The nurses are all long-serving and valued members of staff. Christine has now been on the team for over thirty years – quite an achievement. A vital part of quality dental care being looked after by a dental team who know who you are and what you need. This is so much easier to achieve with a stable. The practice is a single-storey building and wheelchair access is available to all surgeries. Unfortunately, we do not have disabled toilet facilities. The practice has a small contract with SE Hants PCT to provide NHS treatment. This contract is fulfilled by our child patients and we are not currently able to offer NHS care to adult patients. The nurses are all long-serving and valued members of staff. This is so much easier to achieve with a stable. Martin qualified at the University of Manchester in December 1990 and accepted a post at Castle Dental Practice as an associate dental surgeon. He always tries to keep the atmosphere in his surgery relaxed and informal whilst, of course, taking the work as seriously as possible. He long ago abandoned the traditional white tunic coats because of the association that some people make with them and the pain and fear that trips to the dentist once held. And they make him look fat. He has interests in endodontics and advanced restorative dentistry and has wide experience in cosmetic procedures. When not working, his interests include golf, cooking, music, reading and skiing. He is married with a young son and lives in Portsmouth.
