About Center Point Dental Care

Center Point Dental Care runs a practice on Center Point Parkway in the northeast Birmingham metro suburb, in the corridor that connects the city's eastern neighborhoods to the Trussville and Pinson developments. The patient base is the surrounding Center Point, Roebuck, and northeast Birmingham community — families with kids, working professionals, and the longtime suburban homeowners who anchor the area's residential blocks.

Cavity treatment is one of the regular visit types. The team uses tooth-colored composite as the default material, with single-surface and multi-surface fillings, replacement fillings when older work has failed, and the structural call between filling and crown when more tooth material has been lost. Beyond fillings, services include cleanings and exams, root canals, crowns and bridges, extractions, gum-disease screening, teeth whitening, and emergency dental care. The team will walk through cost-tier options when several treatment paths are clinically reasonable rather than defaulting to one recommendation by reflex.

If you've moved to Center Point or Roebuck and you're picking a new dentist within easy driving distance of home, a routine new-patient exam here is a low-pressure way to test the practice fit.

Patients searching for dentist accepting new patients in Birmingham, AL, family dentist in Birmingham, or family dental practice in Birmingham who live in Center Point, Roebuck, or northeast Birmingham often weigh practices like this one for the suburb-local convenience. Center Point Dental Care fits that pattern. The new-patient appointment combines comprehensive X-rays, periodontal screening, and a treatment-plan walkthrough into a single first visit before any restorative work gets scheduled. For northeast Birmingham metro families picking a regular general dental practice, this Center Point Parkway office is a sensible first appointment. If you're switching from a chain practice and you've never had a long-term solo or small-group dentist before, the visit pace tends to feel different — slower, more conversational, and often more thorough than the timed-slot model. Birmingham's metro dental capacity tightens and loosens by season — if the practice isn't accepting new patients on first call, asking about a waitlist position is worth the two minutes before moving on to other options.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is Center Point Dental Care located in Birmingham?
Center Point Dental Care is on Center Point Parkway in Birmingham, Alabama (35215).
What days is Center Point Dental Care open?
Center Point Dental Care is open Monday through Thursday. Contact the practice through this page to confirm current appointment times before travelling.
What services does Center Point Dental Care offer?
Listed services at Center Point Dental Care include Cosmetic Dentistry, Root Canal Treatment, Emergency Dentistry, Dental Crowns and Dental Bridges. The full list is shown on this page.
What are tooth-coloured fillings made of?
They are composite resin, a mix of plastic and fine glass particles that is shaded to match the surrounding tooth and bonded into place. The main appeal over silver amalgam is appearance, particularly on teeth that show when you smile.
How long do dental fillings last?
It varies with the material, the size of the filling, and where it sits in the mouth. Fillings are not permanent — they wear, chip, and eventually leak at the edges, which is one reason routine check-ups examine existing work as well as looking for new decay.
Is a professional cleaning necessary if I brush and floss well?
Yes, because brushing and flossing cannot remove tartar once it has hardened onto the tooth. Only a professional instrument can take that off, and it is the hardened deposit rather than soft plaque that drives most gum problems.

Everyone is so pleasant the first visit. Ever since I got my teeth done here, my teeth have been VERY VERY VERY sensitive to cold and hot food. And painful when I eat. I have NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE. I told them about it. So they told me to come back. When I got there he wouldn’t see me because I had to pay some more money. After my Insurance paid what they paid. And I also paid out of pocket. The way he spoke to me the day I come back. I didn’t feel comfortable letting him do any more work. Because I was afraid something else would go wrong. This is NOT A GOOD FEELING AT ALL. I don’t know how to Trust…. I thought this was going to be a good place to continue to grow with.
