About Centerpointe Dental

Based on 185th Street West in Lakeville, Minnesota, Centerpointe Dental is a dental practice serving the area. A veneer is a thin custom shell bonded to the front of a tooth to change its shape, length, or colour, most often used to address chips, gaps, or discoloration that whitening alone cannot fix. Traditional veneers require a small amount of enamel to be removed, which makes the change permanent.

Root canal treatment removes infected or inflamed tissue from inside a tooth, cleans and seals the space, and allows the natural tooth to be kept rather than extracted. Its reputation for being painful is largely outdated — carried out under local anaesthetic, it typically relieves pain rather than causing it.

Dentures replace some or all of the natural teeth in a jaw with a removable appliance, custom-fitted to the mouth. A full denture replaces every tooth; a partial fills gaps where some natural teeth remain. Because the jaw bone reshapes over time, dentures typically need adjusting or remaking periodically.

Pediatric dental care is built around treating children specifically — dentists with additional training in child development and behaviour management, and offices designed to make a first visit unintimidating. Guidance generally points to a child's first dental visit around age one or within six months of the first tooth.

Professional teeth whitening uses a peroxide-based gel, applied under supervision at a strength stronger than anything sold over the counter, to lift years of staining from coffee, tea, red wine, and tobacco. It works on natural enamel only — existing crowns, veneers, and fillings keep whatever shade they were made in.

Dental Bonding is also among the treatments offered here, and the practice can explain what it involves and whether it fits your situation at a consultation.

Crowns and bridges are fixed restorations — a crown covers a single damaged tooth, while a bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by anchoring to the crowns of the teeth on either side. Both commonly last a decade or more with routine care. You can reach Centerpointe Dental through this page to ask a question, check current availability, or request an appointment.

Centerpointe Dental cares for patients of all ages from its Lakeville, Minnesota office on 185th Street West, covering general dentistry, root canals, crowns and bridges, dentures, veneers, teeth whitening and care for children.

If you need your teeth cleaned, this place can handle that. If you need anything else, go some place else. I was in for a routine 6 month cleaning. Nicolette Gengel was covering for Dr. Sara T. Gengel was informed by Laurie (hygienist) of bone loss and a loose tooth which was not causing me any discomfort. Gengel put her hand in my mouth and jostled the tooth until it popped. I left with a sore tooth which got infected within a week. I had to go to a different clinic to have it extracted, Centerpointe could not do it. Then the tooth next to it got infected. I had to have a root canal and crown on that tooth. I was on antibiotics 3 times in 5 months. Dr. Mike did the root canal, Sara did the crown. It's been over a year and that tooth is causing me problems. When I informed Sara that Gengel damaged my tooth and she should be responsible for paying for it, Sara stated if I did not like her employees I should go someplace else. Nice sweet Sara showed her nasty side. After 20+ years of going to this place, I did leave.

I called with a question for the Dr. Ashley told me to hold on a second and then hung up on me. Not very professional.

Centerpointe Dental has been taking care of my whole family for probably over ten years and we have always had an excellent experience. The front desk staff is warm and helpful, the hygienists are really good at what they do, and the dentists are excellent too. They always explain everything and present options. I have referred friends and extended family members and they have raved about how much they liked this office too! Highly recommend!!

I was struggling for awhile to find a dentist that does good work and an office that doesn’t rip you off. I’m very pleased with Dr. Mike Zagorski and the great level of service he provides. He’s thorough, explains what he’s doing well, and listens. He even took the time a few days after an appointment to call and make sure everything was alright. And it was only a cavity I had filled. I found the office from a coworker recommendation and now I’m recommending it to you! Thanks Dr. Mike Zagorski! -Chris
