About Centerpointe Dental Group

Centerpointe Dental Group operates on Nicollet Court in Burnsville, Minnesota. Implants are considered by many dentists the most durable way to replace a missing tooth, since the titanium post fuses with the jaw bone over several months and then supports a crown that functions much like a natural tooth. Enough healthy bone is the main prerequisite, and a graft can build that up first if needed.

A veneer is a thin custom shell bonded to the front of a tooth to change its shape, length, or colour, most often used to address chips, gaps, or discoloration that whitening alone cannot fix. Traditional veneers require a small amount of enamel to be removed, which makes the change permanent.

Cosmetic treatment is generally the least invasive branch of dentistry, built around changing how teeth look rather than fixing something broken. Whitening and bonding sit at the lighter end; veneers and reshaping involve more planning. Most cosmetic dental insurance excludes this kind of work, since it is elective rather than medically necessary.

Root canal treatment removes infected or inflamed tissue from inside a tooth, cleans and seals the space, and allows the natural tooth to be kept rather than extracted. Its reputation for being painful is largely outdated — carried out under local anaesthetic, it typically relieves pain rather than causing it.

A crown covers an entire damaged tooth — used when too much structure is missing for a filling to hold reliably, whether from a large fracture, extensive decay, or after root canal treatment. It restores both the shape and the biting strength of the tooth underneath.

A bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by anchoring a false tooth to crowns placed on the teeth either side of the gap, creating a fixed replacement rather than a removable one. It is a longstanding alternative to an implant, particularly when the neighbouring teeth already need crowns. I have been a patient of this practice for many years and cannot recommend them more highly!! They are very professional and take the time to explain necessary procedures thoroughly and treat patients like they would their own family. The care is appropriate and evidenced based. A refreshingly traditional practice in the age of increasingly corporate-directed care.

Dr. Zagorski is a great dentist and a great guy! He provides excellent quality work while being constantly mindful of the patient's state of mind. He has performed at least three major procedures on me and each one has been excellently done. His staff are all extremely friendly and professional as well. Would recommend 10/10.

Went in for a root canal and was nervous as all get out. Dr. Mike said no worries. I promise you won't feel a thing. TRUE STORY! Felt just pressure during the procedure. Afterwards he said I would be sore for a couple days from all the work that was done. He was WRONG! 3 Days and no pain! Thanks Dr. Mike and Staff for putting me at ease!

Dr. Mike Zargorski was our family dentist for many years until we move to Florida last year. I would highly recommend him and his staff. Very professional and caring. I've had several procedures done from cleaning to root canals, crowns etc. and Dr. Mike was very gentle and made sure I was fine throughout the entire procedure. He would always take his time to discuss any recommendations and listen to any thoughts and question I might have. His staff is wonderful as well. I really cannot say enough good things about Dr. Mike and staff. I was actually looking forward to any dentist appointment that I had and how often does somebody say that about going to a dentist?
