About Central Park Dental

Southeast Yonkers runs on a commuter clock, and this practice is built for it. Doors on Mile Square Road open at seven in the morning Monday through Thursday and stay open until seven at night, Friday keeps ordinary business hours, and Saturday runs from nine to three. If the obstacle between you and treatment is not the dentistry but finding an hour that does not cost you a shift, that timetable is the reason to look here first.

Five dentists work out of the office: Kareem Fatouh, Ghassan Atalla, Marcello Guglielmi, Rizvan Moosvi and Jacqueline Farah. A group that size changes the experience in ways worth knowing before you register. Urgent problems get seen sooner, because somebody is almost always chairside, and a practice this broad keeps root canals, extractions, orthodontics, dentures, veneers and children's care in house rather than parcelling them out to other offices. The trade is continuity. If you would rather be treated by the same clinician each time, name that person when you make the appointment and go on doing so.

Implants are the treatment most people arrive asking about, and the honest answer is that an implant is a project rather than an appointment. A failing tooth comes out, the socket is often grafted at the same visit, and months pass while bone fills in. The fixture is then placed and left to integrate with that bone for a further stretch before anything is loaded onto it. Only at the end does the crown go on. Full-arch treatment compresses parts of the sequence but not the biology underneath it, and anyone quoting a single figure without having looked at your bone is guessing.

Cost moves with what has to happen below the gumline. A straightforward single implant into solid bone sits at one end of the range; a case needing a sinus lift or ridge augmentation sits well above it, and the grafting is normally billed separately from the implant itself. Ask for the estimate broken into stages, with the graft, the fixture, the abutment and the crown priced individually, and ask what happens to the fee if a graft needs a second attempt. Practices that answer that question plainly are the ones worth comparing across the county.

A five-dentist practice at 876 Mile Square Road in southeast Yonkers, with a timetable built around commuters: seven o'clock starts Monday to Thursday, evening appointments until seven, and a Saturday clinic from nine to three. Implants and bone grafting, root canals, extractions, orthodontics, children's dentistry, dentures, whitening, veneers and emergency care all stay in house, with Kareem Fatouh, Ghassan Atalla, Marcello Guglielmi, Rizvan Moosvi and Jacqueline Farah sharing the list.

Frequently Asked Questions

How early and how late can I be seen on Mile Square Road?
Monday through Thursday the office runs from seven in the morning until seven at night. Friday keeps standard business hours, and Saturday is open from nine until three. The first and last slots of the day go quickly, so book them two or three appointments ahead rather than week by week. For a genuine emergency, phone early: same-day capacity is set aside at the top of the day and gets used as the hours go on.
How long does a dental implant take from start to finish?
Longer than most people expect. If the tooth is still in place it has to come out first, and the socket is usually grafted and left to heal for a few months. The fixture is then placed in bone and given time to fuse before a crown is loaded onto it, which adds several months more. A simple case in solid bone is quicker; one needing a sinus lift is slower. Ask for a stage-by-stage timeline at the consultation.
With five dentists here, will I see a different one every visit?
Not unless you want to. Five clinicians share the list, which is why urgent problems can usually be fitted in the same day and why so much treatment stays under one roof. If continuity is what you want, request one dentist by name at the desk and keep your check-ups in that diary. For an emergency visit, take whoever is free and have your regular dentist review the work later.

Not very good. I'm hoping that changes before my work is done . To those of you who had bad experience in the billing and support staff,This place has gotten worse. I have been over billed, billed 3 years later when my insurance tells me not to pay it. They contradict themselves in the same conversation and I got the cost in writing. They did half. The doctor left and nobody would get back about completing it. All of a sudden a 3yr.old bill pops up when I don't a cent on any of my private dr.accts . This is to a patient of over 11 yrs. Beware . I will not be going back even halfway done! It's really disappointing because. Im notbobe to post bad reviews or even have issues with anyone but there's a line.

I've been a patient at Central Park Dental for many years and I have always had a good experience. Lately, I've been cared for by Dr. Innabi and Janet- they've been very welcoming. They also seem to genuinely care about the patients' experience and concerns; they take their time to listen and to explain; they are very gentle but also very efficient. Their front desk team member, Amarilys, has been super helpful with scheduling and rescheduling appointentments. She's also very patient with going through the calendar and allowing time for me to figure out my own calendar, without making me rushed or any pressure. Amarilys is very welcoming upon arrival, and attentive upon conclusion of the visits. I Highly recommend this office AND THIS TEAM.

Dr. Khoury is magical and so is Lorie! Today I had an extraction and I didn’t even know it was happening! Yes I was awake. He and Lori made the session pleasurable. I’ve gone to Dr. Khoury for several things and when he did the crown for a root canal (which he performed quickly and efficiently) I decided that I wanted him to redo my veneers. I am so happy with my smile now. It changed everything for me. He is so talented and has a great bed side manner. I recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist. I am extremely fearful of the dentist and I would go to him with anything!

The office visit was excellent. The dentist, Dr Khoury, was very professional, confident, efficient, and pleasant. His dental assistant Lorie, was so calming. Which is what I needed. Her humor got me through my nervousness and started me laughing. I recommend this place to all.

I want to say today I had an amazing experience with the dental hygienist Ms Jacqueline Jones. She was polite, professional and detailed in cleaning my teeth. She tooth her time. I had to ask her if she paints or colors because she was so precise. She laughs and says she’s been doing this job for twenty years and gets the same compliments. I will be requesting her on my next check up. The dentist Ms Jade S. was also professional and honest. I really appreciate this. I came from another dentist who was not as honest. On the way out Amarilys, booked my next appointment with a smile. Thank you all for your professionalism.

I was going here for about 5 years and although I had good experiences with their actual work/dentists- the billing department messed me up TWICE in 18 months. First time was a surprise bill and second time more recently I was told a crown was covered— they kept calling to see if I could come in, before the mail came with the pre-determination letter reached my house..so after the first incidence and “learning my lesson” I asked the girl on phone multiple times if she was sure it was covered?!? .. she insisted it was and continued to confirm if I would be coming in. ….then after the procedure was finished she called to tell me I now owe $500 and they have been hounding me since then. Twice they have lied when asked about coverage—and wound up costing me money I wasn’t expecting to pay! I will NOT be returning to them, as I heard from many local ppl in a neighborhood group, about similar experiences so it’s definitely a pattern with them.

I am extremely disappointed with this dental office’s billing practices. Before my crown procedure, I was clearly told that the treatment would be 100% covered because the office is in-network with my insurance and that I would not have to pay anything out of pocket. After the crown was completed, I was shocked to receive a large bill, with the explanation that their fees are higher than what my insurance covers. This was never disclosed in advance. Had I been informed that I would be responsible for additional charges, I would have made a different decision. Patients should be able to trust what they are told before agreeing to treatment. Transparency about costs is essential, and unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I would strongly advise others to get everything in writing before proceeding with any treatment at this office or find different provider
