Charlotte Dental Esthetics: Vaibhav Bajaj, DMD, MPA

In June 2022, I received a dental crown at the office of Dr Sunar. Following the procedure, I began experiencing issues with the crown. Within less than two years, a cavity developed beneath it, which ultimately required complications and surgical treatment by a specialist to save the tooth. A subsequent evaluation including X-rays and a thorough examination by a different dentist, it was indicated that the crown needed to be replaced. The total cost for surgery and restoration exceeded $2000, an expense I had not anticipated. According to the North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners, crowns typically carry a five-year warranty and should last between five and ten years. Mine failed far earlier. When I contacted the office to discuss this, no refund or partial reimbursement was offered. The crown I later received from a different provider fit perfectly and showed me how a well-made crown should look. Based on my experience, I would NOT return to this office in the future!

Excellent Professional Treatment!!

The dentist was great and the staff is nice. I was able to book an appt within a week. I got quality work and wasn't cross sold other services or packages, a rarity these days. This isn't a chain store dentist. It's locally owned and I would recommend.

I am terrified of going to the dentist and I’m so lucky to have found them. Out of my 41 years this is the first time I’ve felt good when leaving an appointment. The staff is friendly, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Mrs. Lucia is the ABSOLUTE best! She immediately put my mind at ease. She walked me through every step and made it easy for me to understand my treatment. I felt so my comfort from my exam provided by Dr. Thach although it wasn’t what I wanted to hear lol! Thank you to everyone for being so AMAZING and I will be recommending all of my friends and family.

I was patient for a two years and was a very bad expiriens,that doctor was rude and no conversation ,he put a big screen TV a front on my hed and listen so loud sport game,they charge me a lot for very simple treatment,only front desk lady was polite! Please avoid that officee.

Ok I usually NEVER write reviews. Like ever. But I think it’s definitely worth it to write one for Charlotte Dental Esthetics. The service was great, but I wanted to talk more so of my experience with the staff. After explaining the traumatic and painful experience at another dental office, Hygienist Lucia was extremely understanding, patient, and kind. She explained every step that was going to happen, which helped put me and a bit of my new found anxiety at ease. Lucia was so encouraging and easy to talk to. She did a great job cleaning my teeth, being as gentle as possible. I unfortunately did not catch the doctor’s name, but he too was kind and easy to talk to. One thing I appreciate the MOST is honesty. If something doesn’t need to be done, then I should know about other options. And that is exactly what they did. Telling me about my options only built trust with me :) This was my first visit here, and I think it’s safe to say I may keep coming here as long as I possibly can!
