Dr. Cheng had such a great bedside manner. He was calm, patient, knowledgeable, and he took the time to explain what had happened with my right bottom wisdom tooth and why I had the issue now. Then he informed me of what he would be doing should I decide to have extraction done. Furthermore, throughout the entire procedure he explained. The staff in the office were also patient and warm. The worst part for me was when he administered the injections to numb area. Only because I felt the tiny pinches. When I was numb, he proceeded. And I swear that man extracted my tooth within 2 minutes. Again Dr. Cheng said what he was doing in a reassuring and calm voice. To be honest I didn’t feel any pulling or tugging. Like I felt pressure but that’s about it. When I had my other wisdom teeth removed on the left side about 20 something years ago with a different dentist, I didn’t feel pain but it was a lot of pulling and tugging for those 2 removals done on the same day. It was very harsh! Not with Dr. Ray Cheng. I was very nervous and anxious about this wisdom tooth being extracted but didn’t need to be. Thank you Dr. Cheng to you and your staff!

Dr.Cheng and his team was such a breath of fresh air for someone who’s terrified of going to the dentist or getting any type of surgery. I went in for two wisdom teeth removal and they were so professional and skillful. The front desk lady told me exactly how much my procedure was going to cost before going in, Dr.Cheng explained the whole procedure clearly and the process took around 45 minutes from the anesthesia to the suture. I felt no pain during the operation and hardly any pain afterwards. I wondering if it was due to how Dr.Cheng sutured me up because by the third day I don’t feel anything in my mouth anymore (of course still following all the post-op protocols just in case). Anyways, they are a wonderful team and I highly recommend them to anyone who’s looking for an oral surgeon.

Dr Cheng is an absolute gem. I never write reviews but I had to because we dr Cheng was kind, compassionate, great with my 8 year old son, took his time walking us through his thoughts and I’d like to add that being a mother to an 8 year old, I really appreciated his conservative yet thoughtful approach and his thoroughness about possible risks. Unlike a previous experience we had had with someone else, Dr Cheng was compassionate And caring and wonderful with my son! So grateful our dentist highly recommended him!

I had a great experience with Dr. Cheng when I had my wisdom teeth removed. I had a complication with my nerves being too close to one of my teeth, and Dr. Cheng was extremely careful with what he did. The healing time was very quick and easy, and I am very happy with the results! I would highly recommend Dr. Cheng to anyone looking to get a similar procedure done.

Such an experienced, honest, and kind group! Dr. Cheng is truly an expert in this space, and on top of that, he's incredibly patient and will take the time to answer your questions. The staff is also phenomenal; the estimated cost is provided upfront, and everything is very clear and straightforward. I think what's also special is that Dr. Cheng takes a very conservative approach, so you are not getting anything done that does not need to be done. Personally, I also wanted local anesthesia for my extraction, and that's basically what he uses all the time. Also a plus for those looking for Chinese-speakers!

Dr.Cheng is truly exceptional. He has an incredibly calming, kind and reassuring beside manner which made my stressful situation feel easy. He took time to answer all questions without rushing me and made sure I felt supported/heard. It's VERY rare to find a oral surgeon who is not only highly skilled but also very compassionate and approachable. His staff is so friendly and calming, just like him! It's such a good office. I am very grateful to have been under his care, and strongly recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Ray Cheng DDS is a very talented dental surgeon. I took my 22 year old son for a consult to have his 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed. Dr. Cheng explained the procedure in detail and answered all our questions. The removal went quickly with no unexpected events and minimum discomfort. After the procedure was completed we were taken to a recovery room where the staff went over post surgery care instructions and made sure a prescription for antibiotics and pain control medication was sent to our local drug store for pick up that day. We found the staff to be knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant. I have no reservations recommending Dr. Cheng and his support staff!

I visited Dr. Ray Cheng twice, once in 2023 and again in 2025 for wisdom tooth extractions (one pair each year). Dr. Cheng and his team are absolutely amazing. I still remember a kind staff member holding my hand when I was nervous during the procedure, which made me feel so cared for. After the surgery, they even followed up with a call to check on me, and Dr. Cheng himself was responsive over email whenever I had questions. Truly an outstanding doctor, and I highly recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Ray Cheng is absolutely fantastic. I had a wisdom tooth extraction and was very nervous and worried. Dr. Cheng reassured me prior to the procedure and explained risks and answered every question I had with regards to the procedure and aftercare. His bedside manner is wonderful and he is very attentive and kind when speaking to his patients. Even while being extremely nervous before and during the procedure, I did not feel a thing. The extraction was quicker than I thought it would be, and Dr. Cheng communicated effectively with me as he was working. This not only helped ease my nerves but he also set proper time expectations during the procedure. The staff was very kind and thorough in everything from explanation of cost, x-ray, and post procedure direction. Everyone had wonderful bedside manner and was so kind. Called yesterday to see if I can get an impacted wisdom tooth out ASAP and was booked this morning for a 9:30 appointment. Staff also explained cost on the phone. Dr. Cheng was very thorough while explaining risks & alternative solutions, and made sure that I had all the details I needed to make an informative decision. The actual operation was about 5 minutes. Waiting, consultation, X-ray, surgery and medicine together was only an hour. I would highly recommend this place especially if you’re Chinese!
