My shoulder stopped hurting the day after Dr. Herman extracted my failed root canal. I have always resisted having any teeth pulled until Dr. Yokoyama showed me the tooth-organ meridian chart and then many things started making sense, including the reason why the root canal treatments kept failing. The herbal formulations are soothing and my chronic sinusitis and other facets of my health continue to steadily improve.

It's hard to find a GOOD dentist & a NICE dentist. I want dentistry that's as cutting edge as possible & that has the least negative impact on my health, because the materials used in your mouth can have a powerful impact on your well being. I have experienced this firsthand in my life. I researched biological dentists in Los Angeles when my former dentist retired & found Dr Yokoyama. I couldn't be happier with the work he does, along with Dr Herman (who does most of the surgical work, like extractions & implants). They are both very personable & easy to work with. They listen to your concerns & are always willing to come up with a plan that suits your needs. Their staff are also very nice & accomodating as well. Brenda is great at explaining the financial aspect of whatever plan the doctors formulate. Of course, great dentistry comes at a cost, but Dental Healing has several payment plan options to help you finance the work over time.

Dr. Chester Yokoyama is truly the best in town! I’ve been seeing him for several years, and he has consistently helped me improve my overall dental health. He has rescued me from multiple emergency situations with my teeth and gums, and his calm, kind, and meticulous approach makes every procedure flawless and safe. My dental journey began having lost my 15 year old bridge at 56, when a See’s lollipop got stuck on my bridge and snapped it off. I visited Dental Healing for yet another periodontist implant/brigde consultation (my 4th one) regarding my Hypodontia dental case (a hereditary condition where a person is born with missing teeth since birth). Dr. Herman was thorough, kind and honest in explaining my situation. I really appreciated the time he took to get familiar with my case and the honesty in him saying that he did not feel comfortable performing the procedure of moving a nerve to place an implant. He added that I’d need a “true” specialist, of which there are not many. I also met the kind hearted Dr. Yokoyama who mindfully created his beautiful “Green Office”. All of the team were equally kind. I left the office knowing my case more in depth, and feeling cared for and at ease. I can honestly say it was the best consultation, and I’ve had many in the past couple of months.
