An Absolutely Wonderful Experience at Children’s Dental World! I cannot say enough amazing things about Children’s Dental World! From the moment we walked in, everyone made us feel so welcome, comfortable, and cared for. For my daughter’s very first dental visit, I could not have asked for a more perfect experience or a better place to begin her dental journey! ❤️ A special shoutout to Jasmine, the dental assistant, who was truly AMAZING! She was so friendly, sweet, patient, and welcoming. Her personality made such a wonderful impression, and you can tell she genuinely cares about making children and their families feel comfortable. She deserves all the praise! Dr. Keira was equally wonderful! She was friendly, professional, quick, and efficient while still making the experience feel relaxed and positive!! I truly appreciated how smoothly everything went and how comfortable we felt throughout the visit. The front desk staff was also incredibly friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Smiles and welcomes right when you come in! Every single person we interacted with contributed to such a positive experience, and that speaks volumes about the team and the environment they have created. As a parent, finding a dental office where you feel confident, welcomed, and happy to bring your child is so important. Children’s Dental World exceeded every expectation I had. I left feeling so grateful that we chose this office for my daughter’s first dental visit, and I honestly could not recommend them enough! My daughter is turning 3 on December and I was super scared to get her treatment for her cavities in her front teeth. She needed to be put to sleep with IV medication and get 4 of her front teeth pulled out because her teeth were chipping off and only getting worse every day. Yesterday October 20th we decided to take her in and get the procedure done before she got an infection. I was amazed at how fast the procedure was done . I was worried about the recovery but she was only drowsy for about half an hour and was back to herself after that. Today, a day later she is eating as usual and playing with her siblings. I am glad I made the decision to go through with the procedure and prevent further pain for my baby. The staff at Children's Dental World was very helpful and they guided me through the whole process to ensure we were confortable and at ease with the procedure.

This location was also recommended by our pediatrician. Had a wonderful first experience with Children's Dental World. Took my daughter for her first ever dental exam! The scheduling was so easy to work with, insurance processing, intake, all of that was smooth and straightforward. The facilities are nice, with kids activities and decent waiting space. The front staff were all so sweet and supportive, and the technician performing the cleaning was great. There were amenities for both myself and my wife to be present during this sensitive exam. Our daughter of course cried, but the tech did a wonderful job working with her, and even made her a balloon animal! There was lots of swag goodies, and the dentist was also great. The entire process was really nice, about as well as it could go for a 2 year-old girl that is sensitive to new experiences.

This was our first time at this dental office. The exam room has character decors for kids. They get to pick out a movie to play while being worked on. Squishy toys, stickers, balloons, even vending machines after visit. What is more, a bag filled with toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss. WOW, wow! The staff are super sweet and patient. Highly recommend anyone to take their children there!

My son had braces done at the Bridgeport office about 10 years ago. We returned to get braces for my daughter and she is now weeks away from having hers removed. We also visit for routine dental exams and services. Every member of the staff has been great to work with over the years, especially the Office Manager Linda. She was able to help navigate a complex financial situation with positive results.

My two children have been going to Children’s Dental World since we moved to the city and they love it, as well as I do. Being 4 and 7 years old you never know how they’ll handle doctor/dentist visits, but the team at Children’s Dental World are amazing with the kids! They keep it fun but educational. Movies, stickers, small toys, maybe even a sugar-free treat for being good; but more importantly education and training on proper brushing and flossing. My kids are actually excited to go to the dentist! Love this place and the team there!

Took both of my offspring for their first visit here, after some challenging dental trips at other offices. These folks are absolute pros, with the whole space geared toward making families comfortable and children at peace. No joke, my kids can't wait to go back, and they were having full-on conversations with the staff (and my kiddos are usually VERY shy). Start to finish, this was my best dental experience ever.

I had such a negative experience here, I DO NOT RECOMMEND. This was my daughter’s first time at the dentist. I knew it would be hard for her and she would feel a bit scared. Well that’s an understatement. First of all, you don’t even get a private room. Where the children are seen, it’s just a large room divided with curtains. Thus, you can hear what’s going on at the other stations. Any time a child cried or made sounds, it scared my daughter even more. And of course that made her cry and I felt bad for the other kids too. At one point I even heard a dentist at another station try to shush my daughter. It was such an uncomfortable experience. I was hopeful the staff could make it a better experience for her, but they did not. We literally saw the dentist for like 2 minutes. Aside from that, I am very upset at their billing practices. I found this practice on my Aetna search tool and it came up as in network. When I called to make an appointment, they asked for my insurance information and confirmed they accepted it. When I showed up to the appointment, BEFORE they saw my daughter, I asked the receptionist if there was a copay. SHE SAID NO. The insurance was covering it, so no payment was due. Great I thought. Well a couple months later, the office has started calling me saying that I owe them almost $200 for the visit because they are no longer in network with my insurance. This makes no sense to me, I verified several times with the office staff that services would be covered. If they weren’t covered, I obviously would not have gone. I don’t understand why, when I checked in for my appointment and asked about copays, I wasn’t told about the network thing. Please try to avoid going here. One last thing I will add is that I thought this was a pediatric only office. But when I arrived I saw that it’s actually an adult practice and they see pediatric patients. This surprised me because I was hoping that my daughter’s first time at the dentist would be a bit more catered to children if that makes sense. I think parents of small children will understand what I mean.

Dr. Menka and her team were absolutely wonderful with my 5 year old daughter. The assistant that cleaned my daughter's teeth made her feel comfortable and cared for. Dr. Menka has an exceptional bedside manner. She is a true professional and is amazing with children. I truly recommend Children's Dental World if you are looking for a pediatric dentist. My daughter came in hesistant, but left with a smile on her face. We look forward to all of our future visits. Thank you!
