We’ve had such a wonderful experience with this dental office! All three of my children have been coming here since they were little, and the care has always been exceptional. The dentists and staff are incredibly patient, kind, and professional. They always take the time to make my kids feel comfortable and explain everything in a way that’s easy to understand. My children actually enjoy coming to their appointments, which says a lot! I’m so grateful to have found a pediatric dental office we can truly trust. I highly recommend them to any family looking for caring, experienced, and professional dentists for their children.

Are you a parent that struggles to get your child to the dentist? Are you one of those parents that wonder will the dentist be gentle enough or be able to handle your child for treatment in the chair? Are you looking for a dental clinic that has a calming atmosphere for you and your child? Look no further, coming from a mom with kiddos who were nervous when you mention the word “dentist” well I got you 😉. Coming to Children’s Dentistry of San Diego was one of the best decisions I could have made. They actually love children and involve the kiddos by teaching them as well as the parents about their own treatment plan. They talk to the kids and actually listen. I like that since coming here my kiddos have a solid understanding on how to protect their teeth by brushing the proper way, flossing, and the importance of routine check ups. They walk away with a dental bag at the end, smiling ear to ear when they are praised by the dentist for their efforts. I’m a mom and can’t be bought for my honest review but when I say they are awesome they are. I love Childen’s Dentistry of San Diego and highly recommend them mom to mom or parent to parent🥰

I've never been to this office before, so this was my first visit. Before leaving a review, I like to take the time to observe the environment, the staff, and the overall experience so I can leave an honest review based on what I personally witnessed. So Before leaving a 5-star review, I wanted to wait and see how my nieces' entire appointment went. I didn't want to judge the office based only on first impressions—I wanted to see what their actual experience would be from beginning to end. While checking out, I was told that if I left a 5-star review, I would receive a free pink stainless steel Owala FreeSip water bottle. That caught me off guard. Personally, I like to leave reviews based on the experience I actually had, not because I'm being offered a gift for leaving a 5-star review. I believe reviews should reflect honest experiences so other families know what to expect. I'll admit, I can see why some people might be tempted to leave a review when they're offered an Owala FreeSip water bottle—especially since it's a popular item, kind of like a Stanley, although I personally think Stanley cups are better. Personally, I think that could be one reason the office has so many 5-star reviews, since some people may be motivated by the free gift. As for me, I prefer to leave reviews based on my actual experience, not because I'm being offered something in return. ( UNFORTUNATELY 😲😳 ) once my nieces were called to the back, the experience was completely different. From the moment my nieces were called to the back, I got the impression that Donea was having a stressful day. Based on her body language and facial expressions, she appeared stressed. I completely understand that everyone has difficult days, but regardless of how stressful a day may be, children should still be treated with patience, kindness, and compassion. I came with my sister to help her with the girls, and as an aunt who also has children of my own, hearing the way Donea spoke to my 8-year-old niece truly hurt me. ( ESPECIALLY ) Knowing how (SENSITIVE ) my niece is While cleaning my niece's teeth, Donea made comments such as, "Ugh, your teeth are so yellow. You need to brush them every day. They're so yucky." Those comments were unnecessary and embarrassing for a child. When my niece told her that her teeth were hurting while they were being cleaned, instead of responding with patience or checking to make sure she was okay, Donea replied, "Just because you're telling me your teeth are hurting doesn't mean I'm going to stop," making it seem as though she didn't believe her. Children deserve to be treated with kindness, patience, and compassion, especially at the dentist, where many are already nervous. There are much better ways to encourage good brushing habits without making a child feel ashamed or embarrassed. I just hope that next time Donea is in a better state of mind, because if a business expects people to leave a five-star review, they also need to provide a five-star experience that lives up to those expectations. A review should reflect the care, professionalism, and service that customers actually receive.

We’ve been bringing our kids here for a while now, and it’s always been a great experience. The entire staff is friendly, patient, and does an amazing job making children feel comfortable and excited about their visit. The office is clean, welcoming, and has a really fun atmosphere that keeps kids engaged. My children actually look forward to coming here, which says a lot about the team and the environment they’ve created. The little extras, like the rewards and water bottle promotion, show how much they care about their patients. Highly recommend this office to any parents looking for a great pediatric dentist! — Thomas Foster

Absolute perfection from start to finish! Taking kids to the dentist can be incredibly stressful, but the team here is magical. They were so patient, kind, and took the time to explain everything to my child in a way that was fun and completely non-threatening. My little one actually asked when we get to go back! If you want a tear-free, positive dental experience, this is the place to go.

this office is excellent, we’ve been coming for about a year and every visit is great— from the communication, to the customer service, to the care and attention they give my boy. and it’s been consistent! front desk is lovely, and the techs and the docs are, too. I also genuinely appreciate how they ask me what my concerns are and then address every one of them— that’s not the standard in healthcare unfortunately and it matters so much. it’s the small and big things with this office and even though I originally thought they were in mission valley with the address, we make the 30 minute drive because they’re just that good 😮‍💨😍

We have a toddler who has been coming here for about a year. We are fans! They are very communicative via text and calls. Friendly, professional, and understanding staff. Cute decor inside, always a kids movie playing, toys, and plenty of seating. Always lots of parking as well. No complaints & they accept our insurance!
