Church Road Dental Practice

A nice enough team but my experience there was concerning. After being injected for numbing (my nerve was hit twice which was horrible and has never happened before with other dentists). I had two sessions booked in with different fillings for each session. We decided to do the first session on the left side and then use the second session for the right side. When I returned back to get my right side done the dentist was about to inject my left side when I actually had to stop them. I said “I’ve had this done before”. She was adamant that I hadn’t and I said “I implore you to check, there are already fillings on my left side that you did in our last meeting”. The dentist ended up checking and looking thoroughly and it turns out, of course, I was right. She apologised and then proceeded to inject the right side and carry on. It was lucky I was happy to say something. I can only imagine what would’ve happened if I hadn’t.

I would highly recommend this dental practice. The staff are friendly and very helpful. After a moderately traumatic wisdom removal at another practice (the dentist didn’t numb me properly, dropped my wisdom tooth down the back of my throat and shouted at me while he fished it out 😩), coming to see Chris Herrmann has restored my faith in dentists. He is very communicative and does a great job. Thank you Church rd dental practice!

Cannot recommend enough! I was recommended Church Road Dental Practice by two separate friends, both gave glowing reviews about the treatment they had. Prior to getting an appointment there, I hadn't been to the dentists in 10 years. Dr. Sharifa has been very invested in making sure I have the best possible smile, along with prioritising my dental health. I've undergone root canals, fillings and wisdom teeth removal, all of which were delivered with professionalism and the upmost care. Dr. Sharifa is incredibly calm and reassuring, easy to talk to and committed. I once went out-of-hours due to an infection and was prescribed antibiotics; from the communication with Holly on the front desk to let me know a last minute visit was possible, to the the care and concern from Dr. Sharifa, I felt prioritised and that my issues were being dealt with in a speedy and considered manner. I always leave Church Road Dental Practice with a bigger smile than when I enter. Cannot recommend enough!

Took my brother who has Alzheimer's and had chipped his tooth. Every member of staff we spoke with and dealt with us was nothing less than superb and excellent. Would highly recommend

Cannot recommend these dentists enough, I have been going for check-ups since 2019. Dr Hind Barakat and her lovely assistant are incredible, really put you at ease and make you feel relaxed and well looked after. I’m moving house so will sadly be leaving, but thank you for all your help over the past few years.

Dr Hind was very calm and reassuring which significantly helped calm my nerves as I am a nervous patient. She talked me through the procedure and my faith has been restored because it was completely painless! Big thank you to Ann who was so kind as well.
