The third floor of the Wells Fargo building at Main and Hampton, directly across from the Columbia Museum of Art, is an unusual address for a dental office, and ClearChoice Metro-Columbia is an unusual dental office. It does one category of work: replacing missing or failing teeth with implants. There are no hygiene chairs, no filling appointments, no six-month recalls. A prosthodontist and oral surgeons work under the same roof as a dental laboratory, which is the whole organizing idea. Parking in the building lot is validated, and metered street parking runs along Main.
Full-arch treatment is what the center is built around. Rather than one implant for every missing tooth, four to six posts are placed at angles that engage the densest available bone, and a single fixed bridge is anchored across them. Tilting the rear implants forward often lets a surgeon avoid the sinus above or the nerve canal below, which is what makes the approach workable for people who were previously told they had too little bone to proceed. A provisional set of teeth can sometimes be attached the same day; healing then runs roughly two to six months while bone integrates with the implant surface, before the definitive restoration is made.
Planning starts with a 3D cone beam scan rather than a flat X-ray. The scan shows bone height, bone width, sinus position and nerve pathways in cross-section, so the surgical plan is drawn before anyone is in the chair. Dr. Darshanjit Singh Pannu, the lead prosthodontist, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, the specialty concerned with how replacement teeth bite, look and hold up over years. Bone grafting and gum treatment are handled here too, since both are frequently prerequisites rather than extras.
Be realistic about two things. Cost is case-specific. It shifts with how many posts are placed, with any grafting the jaw needs beforehand, and with what the definitive bridge is made of, so the consultation exists to produce a number rather than confirm one you read online. And the schedule is Monday through Thursday, closing at four, which is convenient if you work downtown and awkward if you need a Friday or a weekend.

I originally went to Clear Choice in Columbia for consultation and to get pricing. I was very impressed with the entire staff and the tour of the facility. I went back for the implant surgery 6/30/26, knowing that I would be put to sleep. They also had 4 teeth to pull prior to the implants. When I got awake, the surgery was over and I had the temporary implants in. A friend went with me, as I wasn't able to drive after the surgery. I was placed in a wheel chair and taken to the car to head home. I live 2 1/2 hours from Columbia, but it was definitely worth the trip. I was back 2 weeks post surgery and everything is in excellent shape. As we get older, we don't heal as quickly, so it may be 4-6 months before I receive the permanent implant, but in the mean time I consider it a huge success. I can't thank the entire staff enough.

I had dental implants done in December of 2025. I am overjoyed with my results. The staff were professional, kind and really cared about me and how I was doing through the whole process. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE.
Very happy with the staff The surgeon That did the procedure. The only problem I have is the way the temporary teeth were made. They stick out more than what they should They are very uncomfortable.
