Puri Dentistry - Best Oxnard Dentist

SANTIAGO (Santi?) is honestly AMAZING! I was extremely terrified and anxious about my deep cleaning, mostly with the injection because I’ve never had it before. I made requests like injecting slowly & letting the numbing gel sit longer. He was super patient and honored my requests which made me feel so much better. I did not even feel the injection because he helped me calm down! I only did my right side and I go back next week for my left! I will forever be requesting Santiago moving forward!

Very friendly staff and will work with you through out any services you choose. Couldn’t be happier.

The Dentist was Grace

Genuinely the best dentistry I’ve ever been to. Other dentistries, I feel, have conned me or given me false information, and even mistreated me during appointments. On the other hand, puri dentistry is super clear and honest about everything. Staff is super nice and welcoming, and is happy to answer my many questions. The interior is really nice and staff make sure you are comfortable during appointments. I really really really recommend this place, truly.

I made an appointment to go here, and I clearly stated that I had a referral for an endodontist. I spelled out my name my phone number and gave my insurance information. I never received a confirmation so the morning of the appointment I called and they had no record of me under my actual information, but they were able to find that the person that scheduled me had put it under the wrong name and wrong phone number and did not enter my insurance information. I drove over an hour to attend my scheduled appointment and arrived on time. I completed the intake paperwork and was brought back in a timely manner. However, there were multiple administrative errors leading up to and during my visit. The person who scheduled my appointment misspelled my name, did not properly record my insurance information despite it being provided, and entered an incorrect phone number. As a result, I was unable to receive appointment confirmations or updates and had to call the office myself to clarify what was going on. When I arrived, I was also not scheduled to see an endodontist as referred. Instead, I was placed for a general dental consultation, despite clearly indicating that my referral was specifically for endodontic evaluation. The staff attempted to accommodate the situation and suggested that the on-site dentist could perform a CT scan in place of an endodontist evaluation. This was presented as an alternative to the specialist visit I was originally referred for. I then waited in the exam room from approximately 11:00 to 12:00 without clarity on how long I would need to wait or how the situation would proceed. Given the earlier scheduling and administrative issues, and my concerns about how the visit had been handled up to that point, I ultimately decided to leave.

Very good patient care, and treatment. I was explained everything that needed to be done with no confusion. They were very quick and attentive to what my son needed. The overall visit was WAY better other offices.

Areli (I think is her name) was a great assistant. She took my xrays so gentle and fast. Dr. Was very thorough, professional. He explained so much more information that I am used to. I learned a lot from Dr.! I wish I could remember his name. From the receptionist to the assistants and Dr.s, they all gave me a very positive experience.

The front staff is nice and attentive. The doctor was great. He was kind and able to walk me through and explain the treatment I needed. I was able to get my dental work same day and get out of pain. Would definitely return and recommend.

Puri Dental was great! Scheduling appointments was easy and they worked perfectly with my schedule. The staff is simply amazing and made the whole experience comfortable and stress free. Highly recommend.

im very dissatisfied with my experience here, i spent an hour in the waiting room my appointment was at 2:00 pm i showed up on time and after an hour i decided to speak with the receptionist as i seen everyone else around me going in before me, on top of that they showed up after i showed up. anyways i ask her to reschedule my appointment and she proceeds to say there’s a free room if i just want too go in! this angered me even more honestly just ruined my day because it had to push everything back.
